SweetHoney Dessert — Restaurant in Artesia

First timer to SweetHoney Dessert store and the menu selection via kiosk was easy with pictures and descriptions. As homegrown SoCal customers, glutinous black jelly or white glutinous balls did not sound appetizing. We ventured and tried the Mango with white glutinous balls and vanilla ice cream. See picture. There are other concoctions and toppings for customization. It was a dessert sweet mango soupy sauce on ice cream with white balls. I'm sorry, the white glutinous balls should be replaced with white sticky rice on the bottom, more mango chunks and less soup. For a $10 dessert, this item could be better. The store was clean and decent looking, the counter person did his job competently to finalize the sale as is no greeting, no smile, no thank you was required. Definitely, sitting behind the counter texting on his mobile was acceptable to management but annoying to me. I do not plan to return and will venture elsewhere...

Very Confusing... I ordered umami burgers for my family, at a place named Umami Burger in Artesia, California. Imagine my surprise when I pulled up to the correct address, only to find that I was parked in front of SweetHoney Desserts in Artesia, California.

I called the restaurant, and a young lady answered the phone. When I inquired about the name and address of the company, she explained that Umami Burger was inside of SweetHoney Desserts. The order was incorrect, but the young lady did her best to make things right. My family thought the food was average, at best.

I loved the purple yam boba milk tea here, me and my husband came here every week and we ordered purple yam every time, it’s both our favorite, but last time and today we came to order the same purple yam but it tasted different, it used to be milky and tasty, when I mixed it with straw and there was always some yam left on the cup, but now it’s just pure yam taste and sweetness and more watery, once I shake it , purple yam all came off, kind of disappointed. don’t know if they changed the ingredients or employees.
