My family and I are from out of town but have been coming here for the past 4 years. We generally enjoyed the food and service in the past but lately the quality of service has changed.. We understand that because of the pandemic they are short of staff and hours. However, there were 2 young teenage waitresses that left us feeling sour. They both refused to serve my mom dessert because they were closing early. However, my mom ordered dessert when she placed her order (2 hours before closing). I told the waitress that we will happily pay for the dessert and take it to go. The waitress responded "nope. too late. you should have ordered it sooner." I found the manager and calmly explained the situation to him. While I was speaking to him both the young waitresses stood behind him making snide comments and one even called me a liar. I apologized for the inconvenience but explained to him that my mom placed the order 2 hours ahead . He understood and apologized for the mix up. Both the waitresses rolled their eyes and scuffed as he rang us up at the counter. We thanked the manager for making the dessert and left a generous tip for him and the busgirl who cleaned our table. We won’t be coming back. Not until they hire a professional staff that doesn't cough an attitude...

How do I say this?
A guy's got needs, and you just don't put out much.
By put out, I mean the portions of your lunch specials. And, by needs, I mean my voracious appetite ;p
Lunch special Panang Curry (around $8)- The panang curry, itself, was good. I had mine medium-hot. The fried wontons were crunchy and the iceberg lettuce salad (not my favorite type of lettuce) was crisp. But, no soup? C'mon, people! I know quite a few competitors nearby who offer soup with their lunch specials. It's almost a prerequisite for Asian restaurants. Also, the sweet chili sauce for dipping the wontons had to be requested.
On a brighter note, the service was good. Our server was friendly & attentive, reflling our waters as needed.
Parking can be hit or miss, mainly due to all the tweeners and 20-something's hitting up Cha2O a few doors down. Plenty of seating, with a clean dining room and restrooms.
I may come back to see if my next experience at Sweetee Thai Cafe changes my mind of the place, but I feel I didn't receive the most bang for my buck. If my lunch special Panang Curry were a little cheaper, than I'd add a star. Otherwise, I...
Read moreMy family and I used to frequent this place almost monthly from 12 years ago til about 5 years ago. We decided to give it another shot after being away for so many years. On August 4, we went for lunch and had a waitress who could barely speak English greet us and take our order, (which was incorrect when we asked for for pork Moo Yang, she gave us some ages old beef). Then she tried to up-sell us on some lunch set which we're not interested in. We ordered pad-see-ey, and 2 thai boat noodles, in which were terrible tasting. The last straw was when we got our bill which came with a 18% service charge. We had 3 adults and barely 2 childs. Asked the waitress is it customary to charge automatic service charge for barely a group of 5, she nodded her head and spoke gibberish. There is also no clear mention of this charge on any of the menus or elsewhere in the restaurant. A once fine establishment probably ran to ruins by new greedy management, I as well as my millions of followers will never set...
