Panda Express — Restaurant in Arvin

Editing this review to add that we got food poisoning from the shrimp. Came to this location passing through on our way to L.A. We ordered the steak and shrimp bowl. Parked to eat and noticed there was no shrimp in the bowl. We pulled back around the drive through to ask for the shrimp. The worker at the drive thru said for us to park in front and they would bring it out to us as a side. So we park in the front and wait about 12 minutes before getting out of the car and going inside to see what happened. We went inside and judging by the look of the worker we dealt with, we can tell we were forgotten about. We requested our money back but instead they offered to give us a plate of food. They would not budge on giving us our money back. So they gave us a carton of Steak & shrimp (which isn't what we wanted. We wanted the side of shrimp), a plate of black pepper chicken and more of the steak and shrimp item. This has definitely been the worst customer service we've received from any panda express we've been to. Will definitely not be returning to this location. I was in the drive thru At 8:05 PM and and after I waited for 10 minutes in the drive-through line I was told the drive-through was closing for 10 minutes because someone had to go on break. I explained to them that I could not get out of the vehicle because I had a broken leg They told me that I should come inside an order. I told them I will wait that 10 minutes they proceeded to tell me they had to go on break and the drive-through was closed I waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes. I went back through the drive thru and they proceeded to tell me I had to come inside that they would not serve me through the drive throw. :55 minutes later at at 8:58 they finally took my order through the drive-through and told me they did not have some of the food that I wanted. To be fair we came in a 9:30pm and they close at 10pm (and it was a Saturday). There were quite a few people ordering and eating inside. The food was not spectacular as it was what was remaining (they were already finishing cleaning the kitchen equipment when we arrived). The lead staff person was friendly but overwhelmed /understaffed. The trash cans were all so overflowing that the trash couldn't be piled up any higher on top and it was falling everywhere on the floor. Towards the end of our eating an employee asked us and another family to finish eating because they couldn't count the money with people inside. We were traveling so it isn't like we were eating slow. Not sure if this is policy, but somebody needs to look at it.
