Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Asheville

Love love love this place. Best pizza EVER. Usually the experience is an event for my mother and me. We come almost once a week. Today was a new experience. As I ordered my all meat pizza, our blaze helper person Betty proceeded to offer her two cents about how unhealthy an all meat pizza was. My mom stood quiet and let Ms Betty vent. Mom ordered hers and each time mom asked for extra tomatos or basil Betty said she already had. Clearly she hadn't. When Betty decided to talk about the unhealthy choices of the all meaT pizza again mom told her as if it were her business that I'd had a series of strokes, and often times soft veggies cause gagging reflexes and ends in vomiting due to the fact its hard to clear the soft material from my cheek. Betty said she was sorry. My mom was clearly frustrated and said as we left that we will not drive the 20 minutes anymore to Blaze. OAN my mama ain't no ones baby and she surely shouldn't be called one in public. Waiting for the Tunnel road Blaze to open. Hopefully there will be better servers. And no Me Betty. One...

Ordered the same pizza I always get. When handed the pizza, I noticed the box was extremely light. When I opened it, I only saw pine tin the pizza. Nothing else. I bit into it and it tasted like someone had poured pepper on it. Took a second bite and my mouth and lips were burning. Called the restaurant. Employee went over my order, compared it to what I received and no pepper was listed. I was told to request contact from corporate by going to the website. I left three messages, no contact. It asks how you want to be contacted, phone or email. Received nothing. Tried to contact the store manager for several days. She was never there. Finally reached her and she said they only give store credit. She attempted to look up my order and I was told it wasn’t there. I was sick for 24 hours with GI upset. My boyfriend and I ate here last night. This was out very first time eating at Blaze Pizza and it won't be our last! Abraham, whom we met first, explained how everything works with excellent customer service skills I haven't seen in a long time. 👍 And the other team members at Blaze were very friendly and helpful and walked us through the whole ordering process. My boyfriend got a BYO pizza and I got BBQ Chicken. They let me interchange the toppings I wanted for those I didn't want at no extra charge! You can watch them make your pizza if you want since it's cooked in a huge brick oven. The turn around time was remarkably surprising for two pizzas! The pizzas tasted delicious and the salads were fresh and tasty! The atmosphere was family friendly and enjoyable.
