This could possibly be the worst burger I have ever had. The experience started out great. The line to order moved quickly. The young lady at the register was knowledgeable and helpful. This is something that is hard to find today. I was told that my order would take 12 to 15 minutes which is acceptable for food being cooked to order. I had a seat at the counter where you can see into the kitchen and watch your food being prepared. Here is what I saw, the cook grabbed a partially cooked burger from a pan sitting beside the grill and placed it on the grill. He processed to give the burger a couple of presses and then seasoned it and flipped it and repeated the process on the other side add cheese and covered with a lid to melt the cheese. Thus process dose not sound that bad. My burger hit the window and the person bagging had to aak for the side of fries twice before he could finish my order. This entire process took less than 4 minutes that is right 4 minutes (order placed at 1:23 PM and food in hand ar 1:27 PM) Thus seemed way to quick When I unwrapped the burger and took a bite it was mushy and had a rancid taste and smell. At this point I took a closer look at this burger, the bottom bun was red and when you pinch it the pink juices came out like squeezing a sponge. I ordered the burger medium which is hot pink center but in actuality it was a slightly warm brown center simular to ground beef left out unwrapped over night. I split the burger open and found it to be mealy and brown and I ciuld take the beef out of the center and reform it into a party that actually held its form. How this was allowed to be served I will never understand. As I said the worst burger I...
Read moreLook, we love Farm Burger and I hate posting reviews. Had there been a follow up email after our online order I would have said this there rather than leave a public review but that was not option.
We ordered pick-up food tonight and scheduled it for pick up at 6:30. We received a text message at 6:18 saying that our food was ready for pick up. When we arrived, at 6:29, and said something to the person working the counter she flat out told us that we were wrong. She claimed we got the text because the “system always sends out the text early”. She went and talked to the women working the pass who made a very disgruntled face that we would even question the timing of food being made. They rudely asked if we wanted it re-cooked, in a way that implied that it would be quite inconvenient to do and that the food had only been under the laps no more then 5 minutes. We declined to end the experience and go home. When we returned home it was apparent that the food was under the laps far more than 5 minutes; 10 minutes after pick-up the food was barely lukewarm.
My partner and I collectively have about 35 years in the restaurant industry under our belt (both front and back of house) and you don’t treat people like that. You should take pride in your food and care about the experience people are having with their dine out, especially during COVID. It would not have been hard to re-cook those burgers and would have cost next to nothing to remake. In turn you would have made up for a mistake rather than make your paying customer feel like they were...
Read moreI gave this one a three not because I was disappointed but I have to leave room when compared against other places. I thought the burger selections were nice. Unfortunately mine seemed a little overcooked and dry. I asked for it medium and it was clearly well done. Love the flavor of the meat and the burger overall. French fries were amazing but the onion rings were really good. I will certainly come back and give it another try next time I'm in town. Forgot to mention, one of the most noticeable things was a little bit aggravating is every table we tried to sit at was so sticky. We laid down some of the paper towels so we could set our cell phones and my girlfriends had her purse on the table. No matter what we sat down it was sticky and when we left we tried to remove the paper tiles and couldn't because they tore and stuck down so bad. We asked one of the servers about it and he came over and tried to wipe everything down when we first sat because we complained about it but it didn't seem to help. I don't know if those tables had an original wax on them or something, or maybe the urethane that they use has started to break down or whatever. But it seemed like almost all of them were like that. But ours seemd to be one of the worst that we touched before we sat down. I'm not saying that it wasn't clean, it was just almost unusable. Even my forearms when I set my forearms on the table and lifted them up I had to peel my skin off...
