Gerber Village — Local services in Asheville

Not a dang bit a baby food. At least none that I found. Then again I wasnt looking either. Then again there were lots of restaurants. They serve a wide variety of foods. Most food can be baby food, depends on the age of the baby, or maybe more importantly, if you have a blender or not. Then again I dont know if resturants would smile on you bringing a blender into their establishment and making baby food, mainly because of the noise. But also who knows where all the power outlets are located. It could just be a logistical thing. When I was a kid, my buddies dad worked at the baby food factory for a while, head mixer of the applesauce. That place is long gone. I dont know if it counts as ironic or not, but part of the land where they used to make baby food is now a massive MASSIVE retirement community. I dunno irony is funny, I mean sometimes like haha funny but mainly a funny in that it is a tricky thing to define. You can identify it when it happens but just coming up with new and novel instances of it are tough. Something more along the lines of a head shop becoming a 12 step place or something like that. But the simple fact that the building became something else... Is that ironic? It is perhaps more along the lines of somebody who bought a bong at the head shop before it closed and then that person came back to that same place for 12 step meetings. A very good addition to the south asheville area located on the busy hendersonville road with direct access to the Parkway, longshoals, and airport road. Defentialy does not stand out like Biltmore park or Biltmore village but still enjoyable and unique. Plenty of good food of all prices, with Blaze being the stand out addition of the recent years. Pizza is cheap, tasty, and quick. Then there's 5 guys with very good burgers and fries, a bit pricey but totally worth the money.Char bar 7 is a great addition to the little cove of businesses. It's a sports bar with plenty of tvs where the football game you want is usually on. Pretty mid range price for the food offered. Then there's launch which is great for the kids and a whole lot of fun. Right next door you can do your shopping at Publix, grab fast food at chick filet, Chipotle, or Hardee's or get a hair cut. Melisa Austin is a very talented therapist. She has an amazing ability to assist with trauma. In December of 2014 I shattered part of my arm into over 15 pieces. After surgery, and the bones having mended, Melisa was able to assist with release of the trauma! This was crucial to the increase of range of motion in my hand, (I could no longer close my hand or make a fist.) and long term recovery. The surgeon was unsure whether I would ever gain full use of my arm or hand. I was back to work by February 2015 without any problems. And I can now even do push-ups again! (Dr. said that this might be impossible!)
