This new chick-fil-a is on point! I realized I didn't have my wallet with me so I quickly downloaded the app and placed an order on my phone. I was able to choose curbside pick-up or go through the drive-thru. I chose to go through the line just to see if it was better than the negative things I've heard about waiting for your food curbside. I alerted the app that I was "at the restaurant". The line looked super long and runs in two lanes. I pulled in line and my order was verified by an associate who was walking up to the cars, so I didn't have to wait to arrive at the ordering station to do so. We all moved up at a decent pace. I didn't need a paper receipt, so the ordering associate at the station waved me through. I ended up moving through the line way faster than I expected. I got closer to the pick-up area and was pleased to see a change of procedure and building design. Associates walk your order up to your car in a plastic bin and let you remove it yourself so they don't have to be in contact with your items. I was 5 cars away from the actual pick-up station and was able to leave the line earlier than expected. Luckily the 4 cars in front of me were also given their meals, so we all exited smoothly in the extra lane to the right. I have seen this get awkward though if the food doesn't come out exactly timed.. The first time I came to this location I was directly behind someone who was at the pick-up station. My food was walked out to me but the car in front of me was waiting for milkshakes and wasn't directed to pull up or to the side. They declined to inch up, and I felt an urge to leave since I was all set. Really it was my fault that I pulled up a little too close, making me unable to pull my vehicle out of the line.. But I didn't know they were going to bring my food out like that since it "wasn't my turn" lol. Just something to get used to. I'll now leave more space in front of me so I can leave with my food once I have it. Cool new system and everything went smooth and fast the second time I went. And I got a free chicken biscuit since I ordered on the app! My food was hot and delicious, and I would recommend this Chick-Fil-A location over all others in the...
Read moreI hate to do this but I feel like I had to I hate this chick-fil-a. Because of necessity I come here three times a week maybe four times a week and use the drive-thru it doesn't matter if it's busy or not, the order is never right and I mean never right. The example that finally pushed me over the edge was this morning they got the food wrong and gave me something I was allergic to and that's why I had ordered it the way that I had ordered it I waited to get it which is no problem mistakes happen when I finally got it and started to leave I asked if everything is in the bag to eat it with and it said yes and I go and I check because I know this Chick-fil-A and absolutely nothing I need is in there including the silverware just to eat it. When I finally do look at the bowl because it was a breakfast bowl it's got two pieces of meat in it it's supposed to be a sausage about a half a Patty that slice no cheese except on the side clearly they're best to get it to me and I had to end up going inside to get ketchup fork and napkins. This is usual this is a usual thing. The last time I stood at the countertop to say I had gotten the wrong food or something was wrong I looked up and saw the car count that they're so proud of on their board by the drive-thru it doesn't matter what your car count is through your drive-thru if your orders aren't correct anybody can get a lot of cars through the drive-thru if they're not doing their job properly. I'm sick of it and I've lived here for almost 2 years I've been doing this for almost 2 years it's never correct the order is never correct. I will choose to go anywhere...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A COVID-SAFE PLACE, or for employees who treat customers concerns seriously.
I have been here three times, and each time the majority of the drive thru employees have either had their masks completely off their face, down by their chin, or revealing their nose. The thing is, a mask doesn't work at ALL unless you're covering your entire mouth. They might as well not bother wearing masks.
The other thing is they don't adhere to social distancing measures. They come right up to your car window without a proper mask, instead of keeping some distance to maintain safety.
If they treat these types of safety measures so flippantly, who knows what other safety measures they cut corners with as well.
The thing that is warranting one star though is I finally felt the need to say something to an employee when I went this last time. I told her "Just so you and the others know, a mask needs to cover the nose to be effective". Her response was to laugh. She laughed and then told me to just drive around the corner. Even if she had no intention of changing her mask (which she didn't move to make a change), you don't laugh at a customer's concerns and then tell them to move along.
I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere, and will be encouraging everyone I know to...
