Don't go here (IHOP, 275-B Smokey Park Hwy, Asheville)!!!! 1 hr and 14 minutes and we were just being served food, breakfast!!! We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated ... no problem. But after the simple order was taken for 3 people, it was over an hour until the food came and it was wrong, incomplete and cold!!! This was not the worst part, the manager's response was horrific! I got up and went looking for and spoke to the manager, because we waited for about 10 minutes for the server to return to the table, but she never came back immediately to check or meal. The manager, was full of excuses!!!!!! She literally said to me, "I'm backed up", "nothing I can do" and the most appalling, wait for it ...... "maybe you can go find me some more cooks"!!!!!!!!!!!! How can a manager actually get away with this appalling, disrespectful behavior and speak to a paying customer like this??? Its beyond shocking and I'm totally stunned! I was not in the wrong, why am I being blamed? I expect to place an order, wait a reasonable amount of time and receive the food that was ordered and it be hot or at least warm. It is not a customer's responsibility to do the managers job. If there is an issue, there should be a simple and sincere apology and make it right. Don't unleash all of the restaurant's internal problems and inefficiencies on a customer and ask them to accept unexceptable, horrible service, as if it somehow justifiable. The manager yanked the plates from the table (to send them back) and she never showed back up to our table again!! There was never an apology, except from the server, which was accepted. But even the server was missing it in so many areas: we asked for ketchup 2 times, syrup 2x, hashbrowns 2x and the side of avocado. The server kept a good attitude, but was very inefficient and needs additional training. At all times there was about 6 tables that were unoccupied, so it was not super busy. Let's summarize: an hour wait AFTER being seated, cold and incorrect order, an accusatory, irresponsible and disrespectful manager that never apologized and never came back to check on us, an inefficient server, tasteless watery coffee and waited about an hour and 20 minutes to finally eat the correct meal. To top it all off (this is where you know if they really care about you the customer) ... we were given a total of $4.37 discount!!!! That didn't even take care of the cost of our coffee (which was $7.77). This is a slap in the face. I WILL NEVER EVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!

Sat so long we walked out & as we were walking out the next booth is looking around and the gentleman said "their walking out too" as we walked past them. The ONLY waitress/front desk just continues cleaning the tables. Literally there were only 4 tables occupied in the entire place at this time. Highly suggest getting more staff or at least start people off with a drink so they don't walk out as we did. At this time this place deserves no service. Went to waffle house across the street. At first it seemed bad but quick service and yummy food at definitely better price

Do not go here to eat!!! Go to Waffle House across the street. They got off here yesterday for Christmas when Waffle House had to work. And yet they can’t seat people when there is at least 6 tables empty. So as we come in there are at least 4-6 empty tables. Yet they refuse to sit people. Because they don’t won’t to over work the waitress??? I will say this hands down the Waffle House across the street apparently knows how to run a better business. We are here the day after Christmas and there isn’t that many people. And they are making people stand for 30 min when there is several tables open. It ridiculous.

IHOP is one of my favorite place to go with family for a yummy breakfast or brunch. The restaurant feels cozy and smells so good when you walk in. When I went there recently, the food was really tasty, and the people working there were super nice.

As soon as I arrived, a friendly person showed me to a comfy booth. The staff at IHOP seemed to really like their job, and they always had a smile on their face. They made sure I had everything I needed and even gave me suggestions on what to order.

IHOP has a big menu with lots of delicious choices. They have fluffy pancakes, golden waffles, yummy omelets, and crispy bacon. It was hard to decide what to get because everything sounded so good! The portion sizes were big, so I felt full and happy after my meal.

I tried their famous Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity Pancakes, and they were amazing! The pancakes were fluffy and had fresh fruits on top. They even had special syrup that made them taste even better. I loved every bite!

The service at IHOP was really great. The waiters and waitresses were always there to help me and made sure I had everything I wanted. The restaurant was clean and cozy, and the tables looked nice. Even when it was busy, the staff worked fast and made sure everyone got their food quickly.

I think IHOP is a cool place because they don't just serve breakfast. They also have tasty options for lunch and dinner. So, no matter what time of day you visit, you'll find something yummy to eat. It's a great place to go with your family or friends.

To sum it up, I had an amazing experience at IHOP. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. If you want a tasty breakfast or brunch, IHOP is the place to go. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their...

We came here for the first time for breakfast with friends. Our waiter Patrick introduced himself and was very friendly and great at taking our order…. However a bus load of a baseball team came in about 15-20 after our order was “sent to the kitchen” and surprisingly served their food before us. We were pretty upset and therefore greeted by the manager who said “Your food will be out shortly.” No explanation nor “sincere apology was made. We understand things happen because most of us sitting at the table were in the restaurant biz. We needed this to be made right though since we waited way longer than we should have. Our food was barely warm as well. We asked to speak to the manager who came back and we could tell she was stressed so we gave much sympathy for her busy morning but we STILL needed this made right or we would NEVER step foot in this IHOP ever again even though we’re 10 minutes down the road. She started to reason with us which again we understand confusion in the kitchen but the fact still remained that our food was served AFTER 50% of the entire baseball team was and served look warm. My 1 star went to a 3 star because the manager swallowed her pride and made the situation RIGHT. She adjusted the check accordingly and did the RIGHT thing. Our waiter apologized and acknowledge what we had been through. I would say this experience would have been almost 5 star if that baseball team hadn’t have come in. The food was delicious but would have been so much better served hot. Non the less we will return and we look forward to having a better experience. We also know that if it isn’t a great experience the manager will make it right so we will return with...
