Firehouse Subs Patton Ave — Restaurant in Asheville

We visited this firehouse on 7/7/2024. I was tempted to leave a 1 star but the bathroom was clean. We have been driving for 4 hours. We looked this location up and drived miles from the hwy to come here. Not sure if this is a ghetto area or what. We all needed to use the restroom of course and they have just the one person use restroom. We have a family of 5 so it took us maybe 10-15 minutes. All the while, my husband was standing with our young son while us girls finished in the restroom, one at a time. The workers kept asking my husband, are you ready to order now??? They were being so impatient and rude about it. I was paying and I was last to use the restroom, not that should matter. The staff might just be misreable due to the older woman acting like the manager? She was screaming for everyone to hear that the AC still doesn’t work. The AC was fine. They asked if we wanted pickles. Yes we do. Did not get pickles. Then later we had to ask what else comes with our son’s meal. Manager lady said, it would be a rice crispy treat and it would be on his tray… we were like, ok but it wasn’t? She was SO rude. Food was not good, barely had any meat… and now all of our stomachs hurt. welcome to $56 for sub par food for a family of 5. Another restaurant to ask for a tip at the end of the transaction. I placed a togo order that was suppost to be ready by 4:05 at 4:15 it was ready but out of 6 of my sandwiches 2 were right so had to go back in. They were working on a lady's order that they had messed up twice. One of the employees apologized and the shift leader all he did was argue in front of the customers. I thought they were making my order but no they were making others I told them that if they couldn't have my order done in 15min I wanted refund they said it would be done it wasn't wouldn't give refund. I finally got my food at 5:16 over an hour after it was supposed to be done. Horrible place wouldn't go again to this location. If something is wrong and customer wants refund should be offered. One more thing shift leader didn't even bother to apologize he just blamed the other worker as any management it's your responsibility! On another note management sent response to my post but I feel that it's not sincere it's the same response you sent to another complaint...

Over priced. Light on toppings. Didn't follow any of my special requests. Didn't get my side of hot sauce, didn't get the chips I ordered. Drink was super dilute tasted horrible. When I called the manager told me they did everything right and I was wrong and couldn't do anything for me, Not even refund the chips I didn't get. Told me I would need to email the owner since they couldn't do anything to help me. After emailing the owner I get no response. Fill out the customer survey and get no response.
