If you are a non local, or even a local who somehow has not heard of this place, and you have the slightest shred of dignity and or an opinionated personality, AVOID THIS PLACE, I've been to this place a hand full of times and I am totally flabbergasted at the fact that THREE times I was absolutely BOMBARDED with a political agenda, and I'm not talking a friendly chat, I mean TOTAL obscene level of obnoxious bias. I asked the bar tender if they had yuengling on tap, and this guy has the audacity to look me dead in my face and say, "Nah, Yuengling supported Trumps campaign". WHAT? Just say no! you're a bar tender, just say no and give me a beer for Christ's sake. Just in general, if you're looking for a beer or a relaxing NON HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT, AVOID IT. One particular staff member is openly COMMUNIST and tried to tell ME, A CUSTOMER, That it could be equated with the oppressed and with anarchy culture blah blah blah like???? IN CLOSING, AVOID IF YOU ENJOY...

I went there for the Party Foul Drag Show. And let me tell you, I had a blast! I had never been to a show before so I had no idea what to expect. I figured that I spent $10 on my ticket, so if I didn’t like it I didn’t waste a lot of money. It was well worth the $10 I spent on the ticket. The Queens were so entertaining. My favorites of the night were Miss No Vagina and Miss Calcutta. Miss Ida Carolina was co-host for the evening and she was really entertaining as well. She asked if we were celebrating any birthdays, anniversaries, etc. 3 of us were celebrating our birthdays. Miss Ida Carolina asked the audience to say something to each of us. One was “Happy Lobotomy” Another was “Happy Vasectomy” And for me they said “Happy Honda Days” Bottom line is if you’re looking for something entertaining and cheap to do while in Asheville on a Saturday night, I highly recommend checking out the drag show at The Odd. Take an open mind and $1 bills for...

I remember coming here in the 5th grade all the way from Hollywood FL. She was crying when I surprised one of the Co owner I used to be her foster son for about a year when I was a baby. I love the performances I love playing with pinball machine machine she had. The one thing I didn't like was she covered my ears when a heavy metal band was performing but I got her to remove her hands. I met a couple of cool bands One was called lifecurse, I can't remember the name of the heavy metal band. I got a t shirt, a signed cd and signed poster from lifecurse. And I got some stickers from that heavy metal band I met after their performance. I love the staff there. All the staff there are awesome. Like I said I was there in the 5th grade when it was still the ODDITORIUM in 2011, 2012 or 2013 and now I'm 22 about to be 23 in January 2024. And I would love to go again. Everytime I visit Asheville NC I'ma try to...

We visited the Odd during AVF Fest following recommendation from a friend and had a great time. The venue wasn't too busy but had a great vibe and felt well suited to rock and punk acts. Drink options were massive, including soft drinks, and between acts we tried the cheesesteaks which were shockingly good for $13 bar food. Wandering around after sets, it is absolutely worth enjoying the sheer craziness of the decor which quickly cemented this as our favourite local venue, to the extent we even grabbed one of their t-shirts. Definitely hoping to make it back for more gigs here, but there was also a great range of other events being advertised which makes it a great space. Also, don't forget to enjoy the murals and street art on the way out - they're great!

Holy hell this is my favorite place forever. I just GOT MARRIED & had my reception at The Odd! So my experience may be different than a quick visit but I PROMISE you will love this place. Tamy and every single person I had the pleasure of dealing with throughout my wedding planning was a total dream team. THE FOOD AND DRINKS - to DIE for! Like literally the best ever. No one could stop talking about it. Everyone is so beyond kind and welcoming and I felt so happy just stepping foot into The Odd. Cheers to MANY more visits throughout our years. This place will hold a special spot in my heart forever. Okay I’m getting mushy - but - just go. It’s all around the neatest place with the most AMAZING staff ever.

The Odditorium is A GREAT oddball venue with an amazing staff that's sweet, quirky, and friendly. The atmosphere is a carefully curated amalgamation of true sideshow memorabilia, curiosities, taxidermy, and a whole lot of fun! Drink prices are reasonable and they have a popcorn machine for snacks during the wide variety of events they host! They also have an obvious love for their local artists and treat traveling performers very well. The green room is large and easy to navigate loads in and out of.
