I love Aldi and have been a regular customer for years. I have encouraged others to shop Aldi as well. However, the store on Patton Ave, is about to turn me off of Aldi shopping. I moved to Candler 6 months ago and have tried to do my shopping at this location. On a regular basis they are "out of stock" of many common items. The shelves are a mess from people trying to find items. They did not have pepperoni on a regular basis. And limited supply of chicken breast lunch meat. Only large packages and the high dollar prices. The buggies are frequently locked together, can't seem to find a clearly to help, when you do they say sorry the truck will be here tomorrow and walk off. The other stores have been much more helpful, but, they are not close to where I live now. This is poor management and ordering. Please fix the problems. Now it is 2025. Still the same this time I took photos. Boxes covering almost the entire aisle. Empty shelves, unhelpful employees. I usually go to the Aldi in Airport Rd. The employees are always helpful and pleasant. This store is not today the onions were moldy produce was very poor. Save yourself time and go to a different store other than Patton Ave. Aldi company get this store...
Read moreWent out today for the first time in 2 weeks to restock the fridge/pantry. I arrived a little after they opened at 9 am. It was not overly crowded and there was enough space to social distance. The front entrance had hand sanitizer but I didn't see any sanitizing wipes for the cart. I had on nitrile gloves so it wasn't a huge consideration for me. The store was so clean and well organized! And it was stocked! They even had paper towels and toilet paper (didn't buy any since I have plenty right now). All of their produce was fresh and well stocked. Employees were working hard and were cleaning the refrigerator handles often. They have tape to mark six feet at the checkout, but the dude in front of me ignored that (not cool). No kids were there and no one was talking really, which was weird. But, I got my 2 weeks supply of great food and feel like I was not exposed too much. We'll see, but my anxiety around going out is much less since my experience here was so pleasant. Thank you to the store staff for being there and doing a wonderful job. I hope you all stay safe during...
Read moreI had a quite the terrible experience at this ALDI. The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. yesterday. As I was at one of the self-checkout registers, I was approached by a rude woman who had brown hair and was wearing glasses — she’s the employee in this picture I took. Now, before you read any further, keep in mind I have a learning disability. She decided to come up to me with a rhetorical question about the checkout process (because I didn’t understand why I couldn’t pay for my ticket). Here’s what she said: “Oh, so you don’t know why you can’t pay? You have to click on the “Pay Now” button. I think you left your brain at the door when you woke up this morning.” Anyway, I just thought that was so mean and disparaging, and how this woman DOES NOT BELONG IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY. It pains me to write these words, and as someone who’s a part of the disabled community, I’d like to ask ALDI to reconsider this woman’s...
