They can't redeem starbucks points here, they won't tell you until after you've charged your Starbucks gift card though.

Walked in and picked out a tumbler and asked how to redeem the points, the barista talked me through the redeem process and scanned my card then told me I had to pay the rest, obviously I was confused as to why I owed anything, she then told me they actually don't do redemptions here and it took the $15 off my Starbucks gift card and I owed the remaining $3.

Told her to just cancel the transaction and she told me she couldn't do that and I had to pay the rest.

Absolutely disgraceful, I feel lied to as she knew I intended to use reward points, and robbed as I had NO intention of spending...

I've enjoyed Starbucks for years, but starting to question why I go there. I used to like the music almost as much as the coffee. This morning I went to the location on Hendersonville Road, the employees were very friendly and the coffee was good. What upset me was how dirty the place was, both inside and out. I don't think the concrete outside has been power washed since they opened for business. The tables were all dirty and still had food crumbs from the day before. This location is rarely stocked with what they need to make basic menu items. The staff is incredibly immature and unprofessional. Most seem to have some relation, whether family or friend of family, to the “manager,” so there are obviously never repercussions. Even in the event that they threaten customers.
