Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Asheville

I just called to see if I can get a replacement order for a mixup yesterday evening. I accidentally brought home wrong chicken for my 7month pregnant fiancee and my beautiful partner nearly had a breakdown. I felt awful. However when I called Zaxby's, the young woman who helped me was beyond incredible. She was polite, personable, genuinely wanted to help and was great throughout the whole process. I misplaced my receipt so she had to back through all the orders on the computer from last night to find my order so she could record the replacement order. It took a while for her to find what she needed but she did it! I felt terrible making her go through all of that but she kept a friendly demeanor and was very understanding. She was also doing all of this while taking incoming orders and handling all of those while simultaneously taking care of my issue. I'm very thankful for her. I wish I had gotten her name but hopefully management will see this and recognize who she is. I hope so because she definitely deserves some sort of compensation for going above and beyond average customer service and doing so with a great attitude. And if she sees this.... THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU ARE A TOTAL AND COMPLETE ROCKSTAR AND I WILL TELL MY GRANDKIDS THE STORIES OF YOUR HELPFUL WAYS SO THAT WAY I KNOW FOR SURE THEY'LL HAVE SOMEONE RESPECTABLE TO LOOK...

It was quite dim and dull when we first arrived at approximately 6:15PM and thought it was closed. No one in Drive Thru and no one inside. Thought about turning around then said "we're here, what the heck!"

We went inside and ordered for Inside. The Young Lady that took our order was very pleasant and happily took our order. As we turned to find the drink machine there were 3 Young men waiting to order. One of the young men said "we thought this place was closed until we saw you all ordering and decided to come in." (Getting rather lengthy here).

As my wife turned to the soda machine I started towards the seating area and to my surprise folk were coming in. Another gentleman came from the Prep Area and started helping the Young Lady. The Place lit up! Customers were happily coming in!

My wife stated maybe we should just go into Zaxby restaurants that are empty and charge a Dollar a head for folk coming in after us. The Place actually was almost filled and there were folk still waiting in line to order.

This Restaurant was warm, clean and it seemed the whole place was happy and you really felt you were at granny's .

I have been a fan of the Tunnel Rd/70 Zaxby's for many years now. After my visit to the drive through last night I am seriously rethinking visiting another Zaxby's. My girlfriend and I pulled up to the drive through line and there was an employee smoking at the dumpster. After finishing his cigarette he walked towards the backdoor of the restaurant. He spit three times on his way in and then just as he was about to shut the back door to the restaurant he spit once more through the doorway. That made me want to pull away immediately, but I hoped that he wouldn't be the one preparing my food, seeing as how he would hopefully go in and need to wash his hands while my food was being made. We ordered a Lg Zax Plate with two extra sauces. When we got the meal we headed out and my girlfriend began eating. She told me that there were only 6 tenders in the Lg meal. That wasn't the worst of it, the tenders, fries, and bread were all cold. My girlfriend and I were on our way home from Swannanoa and just wanted to get dinner at a restaurant that we enjoy.
