Update: My hubby and I went there for date night last night. We each had the Tom's Turkey burger and Wachusett Blueberry beer. The burgers were juicy and flavorful. And the beer was a perfect compliment. This has now become our new favorite. Shout out to our server, Maria, who was absolutely wonderful! Boy, they weren't kidding when they called their sandwich "The Big Fish sandwich." Katherine was our exceptional server. The food was well prepared and served. Plenty of parking and their waitlist system is great. I look forward to going back.

This place is honestly incredible. A true American experience. The beer selection is enormous. The burgers are very juicy. You can tell it’s high quality and fresh meat. The nachos was well spread and fully of toppings. The decor is pretty cool. The booths are comfortable. The bar is also well designed with so many seats. The Reese Sundae was ridiculous though. I mean, delicious, but nothing should have that amount of calories.

Great restaurant for casual dining and even small occasions! The menu has options for everyone, meats, seafood and veggies. Not crowded on a Sunday at lunchtime. Prices are surprisingly low in comparison to nearby restaurants. Huge bar and I’m pretty sure that can make any cocktail. I tried Ale house burger, sweet potato fries were the best in my life! Burger was fine, tasted fresh. Will definitely be back sometime!

The Ashland Ale Bar and Grille needs to expand their business to other locations. Like down the street from me. Wishful thinking for me.

Several friends invited my wife and I to join them for lunch at this restaurant. And let me tell you. We were so happy they did. The ride there was somewhat confusing for us as we are new to this area. But it was absolutely worth it! Being tucked away in the corner of a small plaza you may not notice it. The restaurant has a very nice bar section with lots of memorabilia on its walls throughout. Atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable.

Food selection, prices, quality and quantity are generous. For lunch my wife chose the baked haddock which she enjoyed very much. I selected the Fried Fish (Haddock) with perfectly golden fried string onion rings. My fried haddock was fantastic. Perfectly fried to have a light golden-brown crust also. From my lunch experience this time. You may want to hold off on trying the onion rings first when your plate arrives. I devoured half the rings before I even tried the haddock. That is how good they were. And the haddock was just as delicious as well. The draft Blue Moon ale added that special gratification with my meal. Our server (Stephanie) was very pleasant and attentive in helping us out with any/all questions we may of had.

I expect to learn the various routes and turns to this restaurant rather quickly now. As I intend to try out the many of the other meal selections they offer. We arrived for our lunch around 1:45 and were seated immediately. Seating was abundant.

Give this restaurant a try. Even if you have to...

Either we need to move to Ashland, or this restaurant must branch out to Marlboro. Recently my wife and I were invited by our friends to join them for lunch at the Ashland Ale House. We grew very interested in their description of this facility and how they raved about it being their best choices for dining as they had lived there for years.

Listening and seeing them talk about the many types of food they serve immediately drew our interest. They then continued describing the atmosphere, the quality of the food, the taste and sizeable portions.

Well, I need to say that our friends were spot on in all categories. My wife had the baked haddock dish. I had the Fish and Chip with string style onion rings. My wife really enjoyed the haddock as it was cooked to perfection and was wonderful to eat. I tried the string style onion rings to begin with. And must have ate half of them as I could not stop. So crunchy and flavorful. Especially with my Blue Moon draft. The fish when I finally got to it was very good. Perfectly fried with a thin light golden crust. My wife being a light eater gave me her remaining baked haddock. Who am I to refuse such a tasty and well-prepared meal. Our waitress Stephanie was outstanding and in all manners.

All in all. The ride there is a little confusing for me as we are new to the area. However, I will master the routes sooner than later. As I plan to return here for more of their fine dining.

Note: We were there about 1:45 and there was...

I have been ordering food from there for years and they were always pretty good but occasionally missing the mark. A few days ago we got the hot dog and beans special in which the hot dogs were dried out they looked like they came from a 7 Eleven or a Cumberland Farms the beans were given to you in a small plastic container like one you would be given to for a small amount of dressing or salsa very tiny so I don’t see how they could call the dish hot dogs and beans. The chicken and bacon ranch dip let’s start off with the chicken was not shredded it was big chunks of tasteless dip. My son said he has a better hot dog with beans at Dairy Queen. Have we complained a lot I don’t think so if the food did not come to 45.00 we would not have said a thing, but it’s not cheap there. So I went there today to pick up my gift card we decided to try something different there and one of the managers came over to tell me they will not comp any more meals for me making it sound like I have some sort of scam going on. It does not matter to them that they are serving food that is not up to quality it only matters to them that they. Comped a few meals that unfortunately for us were not good. I guess this restaurant wants you to grin and bear it so sorry the food is either good or not good we have only complained...
