This is the first time ever when I am writing a complaint on your manager on duty, named Ben. On Thursday Dec13 I came to the store to buy food for my cats. I would like to note, that I am a regular client and shop at the store on the regular basis. I wanted to price match wet food and took am example of pricing on Petco website, which is your main competitor. Online you can only buy by case and in store you only sell individual cans. As usually I do, I devided the price for the pack on 12 cans and got a price per unit (they don't sell it individually online). I wanted to use the price per unit as a match, but I was denied by Ben. It was in total 0.50 cents differece for 5 cans (10 cents differece per can). I was always able to price match cans before at that and other locations. I got such a negative experience, therefore I am willing to continue my business only with amazon, chewy, Petco and petsmart, because I have never been denied to do a price match on the main competitor. I would like to add that if you are thinking to get a pack of wet cans to save a few bucks and get a better deal, they don't sell it by pack at the store. His customer service is negative 5 stars ( communication , knowledge of return policy on online orders …) Everyone else in the store is nice and pleasure to speak with . An update : spoke today with a “ store manager“Railey in person , she was more focused on bad review that everyone will see and how Mr Silva told her everything right away ( of course I would too - I was not kidding when asked to speak with his manager ) , unfortunately she showed lack of leadership skills , I don’t think she cares about the business itself . Read moreEveryone at this store is so friendly and knowledgeable! I’ve never had an issue finding what I need or leaving well-informed about my pets’ needs. We run the gamut for critters in the house, so we ask a lot of questions on husbandry, food choice, grooming, toy durability, allergens… and there is always someone to help. The live insects are always still alive (we’ve had issues at other local stores) and generously counted. We purchased dubia roaches today, and their container had hydrating food in it for them, which is something I haven’t seen at other PSP in the area. The employees, quality and breadth of products, and competitive prices keep us coming back to this store specifically.
