Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Ashland

Stopped by on a Sunday with 12 kids ages 7-10 for kids meals and ice cream and about 6 adults. We had gone to Boston Paintball next door for a birthday party and Dairy Queen seemed like a great idea for late lunch and ice cream. I went in a little in advance to warn the staff but they were completely "chill" about it and when the mob of kids come in everything went perfectly smooth. They took the order without a single mistake. We had a child with a food allergy but they they handled it fine. Everyone's lunch was great. The ice cream came out quickly afterwards and was again perfect according to how each kid ordered it. The staff was very polite. When we arrived the tables were all very clean. We tried to leave them just as clean. We have been to this Dairy Queen probably 6-8 times over the years just as a family and never had a bad experience. My kids really like the food. This was our first attempt at a big group and it was really nice. Thanks Ashland Dairy Queen for making our party...

The service is horrible. The cashier barely speaks, the cashier mumbles and the cashier had a very bad attitude. They were rolling their eyes when we went to claim our ice cream. Also, the “meal deal” cheeseburger combo is a HUGE scam. They have two different ‘’meal deals”. You apparently have to ‘specify’ the order. For example my friends and I went to order 5 ‘’meal deals’ but after receiving our cheeseburgers . We later went up to the cashier for our ice cream that was included with the meal deals . But the cashier told us we had to “specify” the specific meal earlier. We clearly said “5 Cheeseburger meal deals” and pointed at where it was at on the menu. We tried calling after leaving and they hung up on us . Also, the cashier never offered or gave us our receipt. This service is truly horrible and we will not be coming back again. Worst service...

I love Dairy Queen for their famous Blizzards. I walked into this Dairy Queen expecting great customer service. When I walked in, first thing my eyes landed on was a female employee wearing see through leggings! ABSOLUTLEY INAPPROPRIATE. Not only is she following the dress code for work, but other employees are wearing sandals, sweat pants. I spoke with the manager and kindly told him that this is an inappropriate work place. All employees need to wear black jeans, non-slip shoes and at least be appropriate but the manager didn’t seem to give a f*. I am very disappointed as well for the service.
