Ban Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Ashland

They are still open during the outbreak and the food is delicious!!! I have been unsure about what places are open in Ashland nowadays, and the Internet isn’t always updated. I called in tonight, my food was ready in ten minutes, and it is fresh and delicious as always. Support restaurants that are working through this and eat some noodles!

Don't be deceived by the somewhat dilapidated building, this resturant holds some of the best Thai food I've had. While other Thai restaurants may have larger portions, the amount of flavor packed into every dish I've had here is outstanding. The owner and chef is very friendly, and I have yet to have any bad experiences. I Highly recommend the curry dishes, but you really can't go wrong with anything. The rating should be more like 2.5. We ordered entrees and soup. The soup was the main problem. We had Tom Kha soup. All of the vegetables were raw in the soup which made for terrible texture and flavor. The cabbage was just the stock of the plant. It was so raw, hard, and fibrous that it was inedible. It felt and tasted like they were throwing the vegetable waste into the soup. The broth flavor was good. I ordered my entree spicy. It was medium at best. Almost no heat.
