I’m so disappointed with this place. Short review: the owner is awful and whatever you do don’t order a family pack. Long review: I’m so sad because my husband and I were really looking forward to finding a local butcher and supporting a small business but we placed an order for a family pack, and put a deposit down on Oct. 2nd and they said it would be ready in two weeks. Two weeks come and go and my husband calls and they say it will be ready the following day. When my husband shows up it’s not ready and is told someone will call him the next week to let him know it’s in. The following week no one calls, so he calls them and is told they couldn’t find his order but that someone would give him a call back the next day. No one ever called so he called again. Every time he called he was told someone would cal him back with an answer. He never got a single call from this place and multiple times we asked for the owner to call us directly. At this point it’s been nearly a month and we ended up just going and getting a refund. After this experience we were talking to some people who have tried it before and they said they’ve heard the owner is terrible. Which is so unfortunate because truly every employee we talked to tried to be so helpful but their hands were tied and at the end of the day the owner failed and this business will too. This is a nice little store with very friendly employees, but that's the only good thing about it. If you try to order anything, like specialty items or their butcher boxes, that's where all the problems come up. I tried ordering the family pack of meat, but there was so much miscommunication about the delivery dates. I was told it would be one week for it to be delivered; three weeks go by and not a peep from the store.

I ended up just getting a refund. I really wanted to support a local business, but whoever owns or manages this place is running it into the ground. This is a good place to visit just once; but otherwise, I don't recommend going there more than that.

Edit: AMC ended up delivering their family pack of meat to us for free. The meat cuts were very fresh, tender, and high quality. If they can guarantee consistent, on-time deliveries, I would come back and...

Excellent selection of meats, wonderful unique delicious items. Aisles of homemade jams, jellies,salsa, Nice coffee variety. Candies, homemade cards. Worth every trip you will make and I know it will be many.Sandwiches, hot soup drop by for lunch.
