Well, we did eat here, not sure why I didn't trust my instincts. It's a small place, which is fine, no other cars, which should of told me something. It wasn't clean, inside or outside. The Gyro, didn't taste bad, the lady doesn't know how to put together a sandwich. It had 3 small chunks of Tomato, a little bit of onion, 2 pieces, which both were shoved in on part of the Gyro, no lettuce. She did spread the sauce around on the pita. No utensils. Would I come back again. NO. We sat outside, it wasn't clean, bugs hung from the umbrellas, extension cords were frayed and coming from the house behind the Imbis. Nothing was swept clean. the trash can was over flowing. I wish we would of looked around before we ordered and ate. If I were you, turn around. They need to do a lot of work...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were so intrigued to try this place on our long weekend in Ashland. We stopped for lunch on an overcast Saturday and it was not busy. We had to wait a minute to have our order taken, but food came pretty quickly. We ordered 2 regular (meat) gyros. Unfortunately, they got our order wrong - we received 1 regular and 1 spicy (but we didnāt notify staff or send it back). The regular gyro was ok. The spicy gyro was not. It was just doused in chili oil and not spicy. We also ordered fries and they were well seasoned, but not crispy. (So far we are 0/3 for crispy fries in this area.) It was $43 for 2 gyros, 1 order of fries and 2 sides of tzatziki sauce plus tip. Definitely on the spendy side especially since we didnāt love it. Not terrible, not great. We ate outside...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have eaten here quite a few times over the past several years. Take-out gyros, fries, canned soda - plan to eat in your car, at one of the outdoor tables, or take the food down the street to picnic in the park (they are not open in the winter as far as I know, which is a shame!). The food is always very good and the service was quite friendly and quick. Sandwiches are piled high with meat and veggies, the pita is fresh and warm, and the tzaktziki sauce is always fantastic! This is a very small, family-operated place and as such may be a bit hit-or-miss on when they are open, but definitely worth a stop if you are in Ashland. Yeah, the double-decker bus is...
