Excellent local restaurant! Decided to eat here because I'm staying at the excellent motel located in the same building. Wanted to have some drinks with dinner and not worry about driving. I ordered a dirty Bombay Sapphire martini (my absolute favorite) and it was made perfectly. Watched the bartender make it and she could have been Tom Cruise's double in Cocktail. I had a bowl of French Onion soup. It was OK, more like the American style with onions boiled in beef broth instead of caramelized, but was still tasty and hit the spot. My entree was the O'Bryan Black and Bleu Pasta and omg, it was delicious!!! Fettuccine with a creamy blue cheese sauce topped with a filet cooked nice and rare like I had requested. The portions were large and it was one of the best sauces I've ever had. My daughter had the Fish Reuben sandwich with curly fries and it was excellent as well. Fries came out freshly cooked and the sandwich was great as well. I'm kinda hoping my daughter decides to go to school here so I can come back to this place. Drinks were very reasonably priced as well. I was expecting to pay a lot more than I was charged. Service was impeccable. We were seated at the bat but still had a very good attentive waitress that didn't rush us and had each course out at the appropriate time. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant. So much better to support...

Staying next door to this pub, and we decided to grab some dinner here tonight, as it was recommended by the staff at the Surrey motel.
The pub is a bit drab, but has a decent charm to it, there were certainly lots of people here tonight, several large parties as well as smaller groups, so there is no shortage of customers.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, and without hesitation did a couple of omissions and changes to our food choices. The food arrived rather quickly, hot and nicely presented.
The spicy garlic wings were surprisingly "hot", but oh so good. The Texas tenderloin sandwich was perfectly cooked, crispy on outside yet moist on inside. The chicken-finger salad, not only looked great, it was delicious .The ceasar was blah, the only mediocre item that we ordered.
The place is a bit noisy, but that means that all the people there were enjoying themselves.
We'll definitely be back, on our next return...
Read moreI wish it would let me give 4.5 stars because it was more than 4 but not perfect. My wife and I ordered out from there for the 1st time tonight. I got the Reuben and she got the fish tacos. She said the sauce that came with the fish tacos was a lil hotter than she was expecting but fit the fish good. The only complaint she had is with carryout they do not give enough cabbage for both tacos. Everything else they give you on the side is perfect. They were great though! Fish was cooked maybe 1 minute too long but very good and she loved the different things they give you with them. I got the Ruben as suggested by the person who took our order. I think the other place we go to in town has a little better quality of corned beef but the bread here is much better and I like O'Brians sauerkraut better. The proportion of all the toppings was perfect and really enjoyed it. Would give my first experience a 4.5 out of 5 stars and will be trying something...
