We had a very nice lunch!! The food was great down hone cooking at very reasonable prices. Super friendly hone town atmosphere. We did have to wait 30 plus minuets for our food but that was ok, we were not in a hurry. It’s a small family restaurant so be patient with them. It’s a cozy no frill hometown place. I loved my chicken Philly sandwich. Worth the stop for breakfast or lunch.

Down home atmosphere, they make it a point to remember your name and your normal order. When you walk through the door, you feel so welcome, like part of the family. The food is very good, it is like what you would get at a family members home. You want to become a regular, and come in often, and at these prices, you can afford to make it a regular stop, for breakfast, or lunch.

Went for breakfast on a Monday morning. Not too busy and plenty of seating. Fast and friendly services with great prices. Had the eggs, bacon and sausage and biscuit. Food came out quick and was delicious. Never tried for lunch or dinner, but recommend breakfast. The cost for three people was under 20 dollars.

I waited over an hour for a chicken salad sandwich that had absolutely no seasoning. 1 bite, and I was done. My side salad had 1 black olive, 2 chucks of tomatoes, and lettuce. I asked for Italian dressing and was told they were out. My husband had the sausage gravy, eggs, and potatoes. The potatoes were boiled and mushy. They were never fried on the grill. The waitress did refill my husband's coffee but never once asked me if I would like a refill. I think the cook is only capable of preparing 1 ticket at a time. Several items on the menu were not available because it was Saturday and they wouldn't be open next week. The owner wasn't there today, and that could be the reason for the disappointed meal. We normally like this restaurant. This was on a Saturday morning @10:30. the place was not packed. Plenty of empty tables and 2 gentlemen sitting at...

Honestly, best diner experience I've had in a long while. Is there chrome? No. Are there sock hops? I don't think so, but the coffee is bold and dark (and I didn't see the bottom of my mug until we were ready to go), the pancakes are fluffy and soak up syrup, and the biscuits and gravy taste like Mom made them herself. Efficient and friendly service left nothing to be desired and, at least compared to big cities, I haven't seen prices that good in at least a decade.

If you're ever in the area, this is the place to go...

Can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and nice . We got there the last hour they were opened and did not feel rushed . They are opened for breakfast and lunch. My husband for the steak sandwich and I got the chef salad. The steak sandwich was real sliced steak and the salad was a generous portion . Everything was fresh and delicious. Will be stopping back when we are...
