Look the food is good but way too many bad experiences. Today we ordered the soup and there was a metal staple in the soup and other metal fragments. I called my order in, the guy who answered the phone wasn't really listening because I told him specifically that the cheese quesadilla needed to be only chicken and cheese. Due to bad experiences with orders from this restaurant before, I checked the food in the car and found onions, tomatoes, and something grayish in the quesadilla. I asked the other servers to remake it and they had it out quickly. The metal we found because my wife bite into it when trying to eat the chicken soup.
Previously we had issues placing an order on grubhub. The restaurant held the food and no driver was ever assigned. After an hour wait, I had to go to the restaurant to pick up my food, mind you I called and informed the restaurant that if no driver was coming I was going to go pick it up. The young server told me the food had been there for over an hour and a half, and that grubhub hadn't sent a driver.
Upon calling grubhub, they said the restaurant provides its own delivery service. That all eatstreet does is provide online ordering. So not only did we wait for the food, the food was served cold, and it was never delivered even though we were charged a delivery and service fee. Grubhub issued a refund for the whole order.
The food is good but the lack of service and ineptitude to correctly follow customer requests has done it for us. We will not be returning despite...
Read moreThis restaurant was conveniently located near the hotel we were staying at, so my friend and I gave it a try. When we arrived, it was roughly an hour before they were about to close, but the staff was very friendly and didn’t make us feel too rushed. We were immediately helped upon arrival. We were brought chips, salsa, and what tasted like a refried bean dip as we were seated. The salsa wasn’t the best salsa I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant before but tasted fine. The bean dip tasted fine as well but wouldn’t be my first choice as an additional dip for chips. It was free though, so I’m not complaining. My friend and I ordered a margarita and daiquiri that were quickly served and tasted delicious. For our meals we had a chimichanga and the especial de la casa. My friend enjoyed her chimichanga and my especial de la casa was very delicious. It was a dish that I hadn’t seen served at other Mexican restaurants I’ve been too and I’ve very glad I tried it. After we were finished with our meal, our plates were quickly cleared, and our bill was brought and taken care of in a quick manner. Overall, it was good service and good food. I would go back, and I...
Read moreI used to come here quite often. The bar has been nicely remodeled with much more space. They have daily drink specials which have not changed in years. Tonight I came here with friends thinking they still had their special $11.00 pitchers. Apparently on Cinco de Mayo they do not. They had some odd flavored margaritas for 6.99 (not a deal at all) as the special tonight. The menu has also changed- ala carte items are not single items. If you want to add on a single taco or tostada , you have to get 2. The menu says the first basket of chips is free and there is a charge for additional baskets! We opted to have just one basket. Again, a weird policy. My margarita was served in a chipped glass, pretty dangerous! I think they need to check all of the glasses for chips since this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Service was super friendly but slow due to all the tables. There really needs to be a designated bartender so that the bartender isn’t expected to wait on tables too. Food was mediocre as it usually is, I truly come for the cheap drinks which was not the case tonight. After seeing my crazy high bill, I can’t see myself coming back...
