Atascadero Bistro — Restaurant in Atascadero

First time here. Will not be returning. Bread on the cowboy sandwich was rock hard. Even cut by boyfriends lip. My abc burger was ok, very bland. Had to send it back because there was no avocado or bacon. My daughter's pastrami was but she wouldn't order it again. Our server took our order with no pen and paper. His hands were in fact in his pockets. We all had simple modifications. Our food came out wrong, the lady told us he has a good memory. Apparently not!! We were never asked if we needed anything else or how the food was. Very Pricey for what you get. 3 tap waters, half sandwich, 1 burger and a whole sandwich (none of these item came with any sides)= $47.00. I understand things happen but the staff were not...

Stopped in for lunch on a road trip and this place surprised us with how good the food is. Burger and sand which were perfectly prepared and the bread was really good. It’s a random little spot in a kind of strip mall, we stopped in late on a Sunday and it was pretty empty because I think it’s more of a breakfast place. Interior is sort of rustic farm style, and they played nice sort of frank sinatra era classics on the radio. Service was very good. The food did take a little longer than expected since we were the only people ordering, but one bite and I completely forgot the wait. Good sized portions won’t leave...

My husband and I just had dinner at Atascadero Bistro, here in Atascadero. The chicken dinner was delicious, excellent rice pilaf and veggies, with bread for the table. & soup or salad....for $23 each! If you sit in the section away from the kitchen you have nice ambiance and great background music. Viviana is a delight as a server (also one of the owners). And the German chocolate cake with ice cream was absolutely stellar. We thought it couldn't get any better, and then found out that previous customers had paid for our dinner!! Whoever you are, THANK YOU so much. Go eat there, it will not...
