I was expecting it to be more authentic. I ordered the taco. Rice and beans were yummy, but if you are a fan of thicker beans, these ones are runnier - still yummy. Rice and beans better than the taco simply because the shell kind of confused me. But the inside of the taco was really good, shredded chicken seasoned well. Guacamole premade :( I wish it would be fresh, so I could ask for no tomatos, extra chunky—get the happy hour guacamole, so it is worth it (regular too expensive for what it is). Blended margaritas are good. Chips good. Salsa mild and roasted (wish little more spicy or acidic but I just added lime to mine.) Definitely a lot of food on the plate, so that was worth it. The fajitas beef wasn’t quite right, and a little chewy.

I didn’t catch the waiter’s name, but if it was the name on the check, I want to give a shout-out to Peterman! He was so attentive with my table, refilling chips + salsa and bringing a to-go box without us having to ask. He checked in with us regularly during the dining experience to ask if we needed anything. My dad requested coffee, and Peterman freshly brewed a batch. My parents and I were impressed by the service, generous portions, and colorful ambience. We’ll be back the next time we pass through town!

My first time at this place left a very good impression on me. Everything from the courtesy of the staff, the decor, and most importantly, the taste of authenticity of the food. (I think they may even make their own tortillas) It's a huge step above all the rest I've been to, and I've been to many Mexican restaurants. I had the Street Taco Trio. (Just look at how extra they are?)

Our third and last visit. My husband is diabetic I ordered a tostada with grilled chicken, no tortilla shell or beans. Waitress said why don't you just order lettuce haha. Our friends ordered a regular tostada with shredded chicken. We received a bowl about half the sz of theirs and I asked for extra lettuce. That really irritated our waitress, she was clearly perturbed and said "the chef will bring it out"......? Also we got shredded not grilled chicken but at that point we weren't going to say anything. 10 minutes later SHE brought out a condiment sized dish with shredded lettuce which we charged a $1 for. She never offered to refill our water glasses we were sharing water from who had some still in their glass. When we got there we were the only table in the restaurant on that side. when we left there was another table there so 2 tables total. We sat there for a while waiting for our movie to start and didn't think it was a problem since the restaurant was so empty. Our dishes sat uncleared on the table the entire time until right before we left. There was so much liquid at the bottom of both of our tostadas we had to drain it out, it was like soup. I have been a waitress and my daughters have it's hard work and I'm a good tipper not unusual for us to leave a 30% tip. We tipped $10 which was less than 15% something I've only done one other time. But our waitress was clearly not interested in doing her job. None of the 4 of us at the table...

Not impressed. Decided to try it out, support local owned VS chain. Bad idea. A/C in the dining room wasn't working so we sat in the bar area. Children's burger was unimpressive but it and the fries weren't hot enough to burn my son so that was a surprise. My enchilada suiza tasted of dry canned chicken, canned green sauce and old wet socks. The side of rice was sauced white rice with carrot pieces, corn and wrinkled peas. The soupy side of refried beans ran off the plate. The horchata was sugary sweet and sprinkled with cinnamon that would not stir in so it provided no flavor. My husband's burrito was large, full of chunks of grilled chicken breast meat, the same white rice veg mix and beans I had on my plate. His defiantly tasted better than mine. His lemonade was good and got plenty of attention from the cocktail waitress where as my son's lemonade was empty minutes after he got it and it stayed that way since the waitress only had eyes for the man's drink. My horchata was empty halfway through the meal, I used it to choke my lunch down and it wasn't until my husband's 5th refill that suddenly appeared did she stop to ask about my son or I wanting more to drink. Just another Mexican bar dive serving up microwaved food to drunks who don't know how foul it is. I expected better food served during lunch hours on a business day. Won't make that...

Usually the experience here is great! The waiters/waitresses are on point, the drinks stay full, and I truely feel the staff has earned their tip. It seems like things have changed at this restaurant. I went in with my entire family of 5.5 people(a todler=.5)Upon walking in the door things felt different from the 10 or twelve other times I have dined here. After a few minutes, we were noticed then seated fairly quick. Greated and drink orders taken, typically we like to snack on the tortilla chips that they offer as we look at the menu and wait for our food. After five minutes went by our drinks arrived and we placed our orders. Thats when the wait started. I begain to see the inexperience this evenings crew had. I finally had to flag down a waitress with a series of hand gestures...to get some tortilla chips and salsa that all the other tables clearly already had. After a 20 to 30 minute wait our food arrived and only then did the staff realize(after I mentioned to them) that we didnt have any Silverware. One of the waitresses swore she gave us all silverware already...which she clearly hadn't. This entire evening was full of disappointment from the performance alone. A real bummer too because I liked this place. Its obvious that there is a management problem. All this brought the tip earned to zero. Not sure if I will...
