American Deli — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

I just came from American Deli. I ordered at the drive thru window. The young light skinned lady at the window who took my order was so rude. She has the worst customer service ever. I usually brag about the cashiers at the drive thru window because they are usually very pleasant and nice. But this evening about 30 minutes ago, I drove up, and the Young black or biracial lady just looked at me. She didn't say hello . There was no type of greeting. So I asked her how she was doing today. She rolled her eyes and said "fine". So I started ordering and she seemed as if me placing my order was bothering her. Her face was in a frown the entire time. I felt so unwelcomed. To the point I started to cancel my order, but I continued anyway. She took my card. When she gave me the card back along with my receipt she didn't even say thank you. So I told her thank you. It was just a bad customer experience for me. I probably won't come back to this location. Its very puzzling. The cashiers are usually very friendly. This lady was not...

An employee used the restroom, left without washing his hands, and immediately started serving food. Swear on my life.

While using the urinal, I heard someone else enter the restroom, they went into the stall and peed. After washing my hands, I opened the door to leave the restroom, right then, the stall door opened and the employee walked straight out of the restroom, no sanitizer, nothing. If there is a sink in the stall, they did not use it. I followed him out, he went right behind the service counter, did not wash hands there either, did not put on gloves, just started grabbing people's boxes of food to hand out.

So bland and flavorless. It’s crazy that this is the same restaurant as the American deli on Epps bridge yet it tastes so different. I literally taste nothing. Thank God it’s hot because if it were cold I may as well be eating plastic food. I don’t taste a THING. I asked for light sauce because they normally drown the wings in sauce but maybe that’s why... was the chicken seasoned? I need to know. The rice is hard. And also tastes like nothing. I almost wanna put some salt in the rice but it’s FRIED RICE so it should have some flavor from sesame oil or something but no. Must have been fried in vegetable oil.
