Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

A year ago I moved up to Woodstock, GA from the wonderful city of Athens, GA. I have been frequenting a few Chick-fil-a restaurants up here.I have spent the past 45 days counting calories and weighing every gram of food I consume. Today I decided I would treat myself to a #1 from Chick-fil-A…. As I was driving home I was truly sad. The meal did not satisfy me one bit. I was basically eating a bread on bread sandwich with no chicken to be found. AND ONLY ONE PICKLE… don’t they know the pickles should be “dating”,not “married”, and definitely not “unisexual”.

Prior to me beginning my weight loss journey (lol-we gonna see), I ate at Chick-fil-A MULTIPLE times a week. In my world, Chick-fil-A is the only fast food restaurant that exists. I got it honestly- as my dad asked for a chicken sandwich the day of his quadruple bypass surgery. I made sure he got it.

You know those shirts that say “Chick-fil-A diet” the little sorority girls are wearing? No, honey. You are not a size 0 fitting in that tiny little rush dress from having a Chick-fil-A diet. I, however, am purely built by Chick-fil-A. Every cell in my body was powered by sweet tea and nugs. The only slipping into clothes I can do, is when there is peanut oil residue on my size 8 jeans from the grease poured into the fryers by Shane Todd himself.

All of this to say, SHANE TODD CHICK-FIL-AS ARE BETTER THAN ALL OTHER OWNER/OPERATOR CHICK-FIL-AS!!!!! I ate at Barnett Shoals for 5 years of college. The sandwiches have the little crispies that fall onto your shirt while you’re driving down the road. Those crispies bring me so much joy. The chicken actually fills the bread, a totally proportional bread:chicken ratio. Don’t get me started on the drive thru. They really respect the the customers and make sure you’re in and out.

Some nights, when I have had one too many white claws, I search LinkedIn for single men who are owner operators at Chick-fil-A. One day, when they actually answer me…. I hope they are as great as Shane Todd. Interesting I feel this way about a man I’ve never met. But what can I say, chicken is the way to this girl’s heart.

Once again they messed up my order. 3rd time now. They really good at speed but care little for quality control. Mr Cathy did not envision his empire to be fast food that was propelled by speedy delivery but lacked flavor and focus on customer experience. I have been to many locations and it’s evident they only want to push product ever since they created 2 lanes and teens empowered by a tablet. Athens Regional managers like Shane Todd should ask why their store managers are packing orders and not overseeing the business. Why do they have so many staff running cars and nobody watching control???? Burger King and even Raising Kanes is consistent, their drive thru is slower but I always get what I order. Step up or get out of the business. Times are hard and having to pay a fortune for chicken only to go back after getting home to find your take out was missing food IS NOT acceptable. I could easily spend half at your competitor and be more content. Apparently, I am not the only customer (ex) experiencing this dis-service. Look at reviews. If you are a member the Cathy family still running this business, don’t just sit back and fatten on profits, fix it before you end up like other fast food chains….Your original core value “We’re here to serve” ……………….???...

I want to start off by saying I used to work Back of House Food Prep at CFA and I know how things work back there. I have had problems with my order being incorrect at this CFA in the past. This is a small thing that was really just the last straw for me today and I am irritated. I just went through there to pick up lunch today and they were busy, but the two lanes weren't even being used so they weren't that busy. I ordered a cobb salad with extra tomatoes. I try not to take up too much time so I didn't look at my food before I left. Once I got where I needed to be, I found out not only was there not extra tomatoes, there were no tomatoes at all. I now can't, and shouldn't have to, drive back in town to CFA to get tomatoes. I tried to call the location multiple times to make them aware and there's been no answer. This might be a minor thing, but I paid for something that is not what I ordered and wanted. This was probably somebody in BOH not fully paying attention, but regardless, I spent money and I did not get what I ordered. Previously I have ordered the same salad from this location and not gotten chicken on my salad so I had to drive back and get some. All I want are some tomatoes...
