We have gone to this Loco's several times over the years but in the last year there has been a decline in the overall experience that makes the drive to Timothy Road worth the trip. The culminating event leading to this review was my stepson's wedding reception held in the banquet room there for a Friday lunch last week which was a circus of an experience.
With a party of over 40 we were given a single server who had a poor attitude and was in the weeds from the beginning. We were not allowed to place orders when we asked. So all orders were taken together resulting in some of us being done eating before the bridal party even had their meals because the kitchen had been overwhelmed by the orders being placed all together.
Many people from our party weren't getting served and began going to the bar to get drinks. After a little while of that, the waitress came in and yelled at our party that no one can get drinks from the bar, they needed to see her for their orders (yet she had been nowhere to be found for 20+ minutes at a time). After that, the bar refused to serve anyone from our party again even to get a to-go coca cola.
By the time the party was finishing up the server disappeared with at least one person from our party never receiving their meal.
Each ticket had to physically go track the server down at the hostess stand to get their check and pay. And of course because of the party size, gratuity was included, so the server who monopolized the large party to herself, knew she would be tipped regardless of the service she gave, her poor attitude, and even down right ugliness on what was supposed to be a celebration of joy for our kids.
Skip Loco's Eastside, and do yourself a favor and head to Timothy Road if you want good service. If you just want some good wings, hit up your local Wing House...

I asked several of my other friends where a good place to go would be and they suggested the Loco's on the Eastside. We decided to order the wings to-go and placed the order on the app. We also paid on the app (which also included a 20% tip PRIOR to getting out food). Our order was as follows (and I am reading this from the actual receipt): 10 Classic Wings Extra Crispy Medium Ranch 10 Classic Wings 1/2 & 1/2 Extra Wet Honey Sriracha Medium Ranch Wings & Fries When we arrived, there was a young, curly haired boy standing behind the hostess counter. He did not greet us and barley mumbled anything to us. We told him we were there to pick up a to-go. He looked at us as if we had disturbed his nap and said it would be a minute. We chose to sit on the bench nearest to the exit door. After waiting a considerable amount of time, I approached the hostess stand and asked politely where our food was. He mumbled something about the kitchen being backed up (which I know DOES happen). I asked if it was possible for him to grab my guest and I 2 to-go cokes or perhaps ask the bartender to do so. He said, "Oh i don't think so. Nah. That's not something I can do...". Another server came behind him and I explained the situation. She gladly got the 2 cokes for me. As she was doing this, my food order was ready. I also gave the server $5 cash for the 2 cokes. HAS SOMETHING HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE LATELY? When we got home, the only way you could determine the flavor sauces was by the parchment paper separating the 1/2 and 1/2 wings. they all tasted the same and were not extra wet. Read moreThe Wings were great, but the waitress Regina was horrible. She served me cold fries, and walked away without checking to see if the food was to my satisfaction. She didn't ask if I needed anything else, such as sauces or extra napkins. There were several times I had to go grab someone else's waitress because she was not attentive to my needs, nor my guest. After I grabbed other waitresses for my needs, she got offended and decided to come do her job. Do not expect a lot from the waitress at Locos, named Regina. She will definitely not give you her best as a waitress. I asked her nicely if she could fill my cup up with cold water because I was thirsty, she replied , "I will refill that up for you as long as you're nice." Remind you, we were just being seated, and just at that very moment she had judged me before serving. I felt as if I were put in a category that I didn't want to be in, nor experience due to the many bad experiences she had with certain races or ethnic groups. I felt really bad. I spoke to the manager named David costa, about my concerns, he made our evening much better. What a sweet guy he is. If it weren't for him, I would've decided to never return. For I am very loyal customer, especially when I am served well . I believe customer service should always be exceptional, sadly customer service in modern society has declined tremendously.
