My reason for giving 2 star because the service was HORRIBLE. I purchase a large sizzling rice soup. When I arrived to pick up my order they just looked at was not friendly at all. Secondly, I ask for rice because they had just given me the soup and chips with no rice. I ask could I get some rice and the lady was like he can make you some if you like, I said yes please. He did but the bag was half full, I ask for another bag and he went to fix it but their young adult daughter who was waiting on another customer told me that it would be $1.08 for another bag. I pause because I am thinking to myself i shouldn’t have to ask you all for something that’s supposed to come with the order and I ask for another bag because it was half full and 2 people cannot eat a half full bag. Where do I start... As son as you come through the doors they are asking “2 meat, 3meat.” Can I please look to see what and if I want to order. The food is swimming in grease especially the noodles. The last couple times I’ve gone here I’ve been disappointed, the black pepper chicken is too Sweet. The name is Black Pepper Chicken and that should be the keynote of the dish. It used to be good this was my go to. My family and I have been coming here since they opened and was excited when they finally started offering black pepper chicken. 5/29/22 This location esthetically looks tired. Like the place could use a touch up. Menu ordering is a bit confusing for first time diners and it will take a few visits to understand what you're ordering. However, once you have your food, I found the portions to be be very generous and filling. Taste-wise the food was as expected. A bit drenched in sauce but still delicious and comforting.
