The staff of this location are incredibly kind. My smoothie blender broke and I spent a while getting smoothies from Planet Smoothie until I purchased a new one. I still pop in from time to time for a smoothie because, I’m not going to lie, they taste much better than what I make at home. One staff member that I have encountered on several occasions always wears the brightest smile and welcomes me with super positive energy. I wish I knew her name. We always talk briefly before I leave, and she constantly, unintentionally reminds me to focus on the positive aspects of life. We need more people like her in the world. I recently found out I have an autoimmune disease and have difficulty eating solid foods in the mornings, so I’m not always the most positive person. This Planet Smoothie is perhaps one of the worst owned franchises that I have ever seen. The worker cheated us out of using a coupon. It was a buy-one-get-one free. We paid for a medium and she gave us a small with the coupon where it should have been a medium. We called and nicely asked if at a later date that she could give us a medium for the price of a small. She hung up the phone on us. We called back to ask to speak to a manager. TO OUR SURPRISE, THE WORKER WAS THE OWNER. She hung up the phone on us 3 times. She also said that she did not care for our business and did not want it. OMG… Nasty!!!!! … so I normally don’t get my smoothies here but decided to stop in. First it was DARK!!! Yes DARK!!! Poorly lit inside which looked sketchy!
