UPDATE: Showed up to the store to try to get a long standing issue resolved. Waited for 15 minutes, no one acknowledged me. Then another agent came out and addressed and helped the people who came in after I did. When someone else finally came out I asked her if I was invisible, as her co-worker ignored me when he came out. Rather than address what I was there for or acknowledge the fact that I had been ignored previously, she got an attitude with me. I've been trying to get my service issue addressed since March and no one seems interested in helping to get this issue resolved. I've been in 5 different stores and used the chat service on their website countless times and nobody can seem to make my phone work unless I'm on WIFI. I'm so disappointed and disgusted with the way I keep getting blown off, and nobody wants to help, only demand money from me now that I've finally stopped paying my bill (I can't get service and I can't seem to get anyone to fix it). I'm done wasting my time and money on a company that couldn't care less about their customers. Absolutely deplorable and inexcusable. This is over a year since someone replied to my last review to tell me they would look into it and fix it. Obviously whatever they did/said didn't make any type of impact if the employees are continuing to treat customers as if they are doing them a favor simply by being there.
VERY very slow service. I stood inside for 30 minutes before anyone said anything to me or anyone else standing in line. When someone finally came over there were 6 of us needing our names taken to be put on a list to be waited on. It was up to us as fellow customers to inform those coming in what was happening, because all of the staff ignored anyone that wasn't standing in front of them. I understand that they are short staffed, but when you see 10 people congregated at the front of the store at least...
Read moreI recently stopped into the Verizon in Athens because I was directed to this location under the impression they had a technician on staff. I had recently purchased a galaxy watch 4 classic and 9 days later, the watch decided to malfunction and was in a reboot loop. When I arrived, the gentlemen behind the desk approached me and ask what could they help me with. I handed the guy the watch and explained to him it has been in a reboot loop for about 3 hours while I was at work until it died and had been dead for about 1 hour at this time. The guy took the watch and continued to press the power button as if it was going to magically turn itself on even though I expressed the fact several times it was dead. He then proceeded to tell me I just needed to take the watch home and charge it. I ask him do they not have a charger seeing as how this is supposed to be a technical location. He told me no and that I just needed to charge it and if it continued to take it back to the location I originally purchased the watch from that no other location could help me. I wound up having to drive to harriman location to get them to help me and still wound up with watch issues. Thankfully the very nice and helpful gentleman at the lenoir city location assisted in fixing all my issues and was able to exchange the watch there even though it was not the location I had originally purchased it from. Will never resort to this location again. Very rude and just wanted to push me out the door without fixing the problem I was having. So much for a...
Read moreOh boy. Here goes… If I am there buying a brand new phone to replace one that was stolen, why do I get charged an upgrade fee as well as a service fee? I was there for a phone only. He tried to sell me more stuff at every point: Verizon insurance, cases, screen protectors, extra chargers, etc. He provided miss-information saying that the old chargers would break the batteries on the new phone. This is false and misleading. He never offered to help setup any of the phone. Never offered to help install the e sim. Never even checked to make sure that everything installed correctly and was working. We had to ask for an itemized receipt multiple times. The first time, he printed something out, stuffed it in a bag, and then went on lunch. When we checked, we realized he printed some statement which didn’t actually include the receipt. Had to find someone to grab him so he could print the actual receipt. I had some Verizon e-gift cards but was having trouble getting them to work. Instead of helping, the guy just said that there isn’t anything he could do.
While I was there, I overheard this same stuff happening to older people. Don’t trust the people here. I guess they just want their commission. They just want to sell you the most stuff, and then...
