Rent-A-Center — Local services in Athens

Online for ATHENS TN RENT-A-CENTER you can start an order for a generator for rent to own hence their name "Rent"-a-center but because they are a franchise when you speak with them they tell you that you cannot "rent" to own a generator that it is cash only. So maybe they should change that info on their website....I mean that is a little misleading. They are the only "Rent"-a-Center in our area with them in-stock but they refuse to honor what the website says for THAT store. It's not like I was asking them to honor a deal online from a DIFFERENT store, it was ATHENS, TN "RENT"-A-CENTER WEBSITE. I know this because it made me choose my location (store). All I'm saying is I understand being a franchise you get to make up your ownrules and guidelines BUT if they are going to do that then the website should reflect that by stating CASH ONLY AT THE ATHENS LOCATION. I mean why would anyone in their right mind go pay 4 times the price at "RENT"-a-center when you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and get it for the regular price?!? I hope they get that straightened out so that they are not misleading potential...

First she said she didnt have anyone above her. I plan on getting a bed soon the young lady was very nice and friendly and said that I could make a once a month payment instead of a payment every single week.( I'm in disability) Meaning that they will work with you and your payment abilities. Which helps people who are on disability like me get what they need instead of going to the salvation army to try to get what we need and 9 times out of 10 it won't work or quits fairly quickly.
