I haven’t been here in almost a yr or longer !!! Today I realized why !!!! 4 people while I was waiting on my food , returned theirs !! So when I received my food , I ordered a double qtr pounder with cheese made like a Big Mac !! Shouldn’t be hard they had a whole jingle about it , right!! Well I got my burger and it didn’t have the good Big Mac onions on it and it had been thrown together the meat and toppings were hanging half way off , just extremely messy, but I didn’t let the poor presentation bother me but I did want the right onions so I sent it back , they remade my burger but when I got it back this time it was missing a piece of cheese so I was like why did we not put the right amount of cheese on it ? I was charged for it so I said something about it and the guy tht was gonna take it back had just got done dealing with trash and my box was open he proceeded to grab it so when he did he was just gonna have them throw a piece of cheese on it , I told him I wanted it remade because I had just seen him dealing with trash so it was very unsanitary to hand me back the same burger which he was gonna do !!!! Then he got a rude attitude and said well sir you’re the one tht opened it! Yet you were just dealing with trash and had a very uncleanly appearance!! Who ever the managers are should be retrained or FIRED!!! No one that is dealing with trash should confront a customer and handle thier food PERIOD!!!! So then when he took his attitude and smart mouth to the back to get the manager , the manager then came to me and I told her what happened she made it right and brought me the burger I checked it everything was right so I confirmed it as she walked away I went to pick it up to take a bite and I noticed the bottom bun was hard and broke when I poked it! So I just asked for my refund and then she huffed and puffed about it herself!! This place is very bad customer service both managers should NOT BE MANAGERS AT ALL, 9 people have returned their food or had a problem, 4 when we first got there and 5 more came afterwards not including me so we counted 9 in all since I have been here!! Yet the managers are acting like it’s the customers, no get on your job and make sure your employees are doing their job!!! It’s not that hard!! I do not recommend this place it’s horrible customer service and obviously they don’t pay attention to the details of the order, then get a attitude when you say something. We work hard for our money and should be treated like it, if they would go through and change out old food for fresh every 25 min like some places I know do prolly wouldn’t have this problem! It’s very unsanitary to let someone who is walking around changing trash to interact with customers food with no evidence of his hands even being washed and at the same time looks like he works at a auto garage being dirty and not showered in days!! Read moreI know this McDonald's in athens al usually gets the worst reviews and has some bad moments, but let's face it who doesn't, well today 3/17/2022 around 4:50 - 5:30 pm i took my kiddos for dinner and it was PACKED ! Like I'm talking about the dinning room, and the drive thru was wrapped around the building. So we went in and i ordered on one of the kiosks then realized i didn't have my debit card so i had to pay at the register, well the whole time i was ordering i could hear the only cashier( EMPLOYEE) !!!!! COMPLAINING ABOUT ALL THE GUESTS IN THE RESTAURANT...... he was saying everytime a guest would walk in " People stop coming in gees" !!! I was like really... then everytime he was asked anything he would humph and complain.... then a young man that had ordered through the app that had been waiting a while walked up to the employee at the register and very nicely i may add can i get a refund for an app order that is paid for bc i need to go and the employee huffed and puffed and turned around and yelled the question out and then turned around and said no we can't then ignored the young man ... later on the same employee walks over to the kiosk orders food then walks up to a dirty table looks at and out loud(very loudly) and says "NOPE AIN'T DOING IT WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR TRASH ON THE TABLE"..... then the employee walks over to the kiosk i assume to wait for his food and proceeds to fuss about how busy it was to a guest who was waiting on her food....... SAYING ALL THAT .... I DO WANT TO APPLAUD THE OTHER EMPLOYEES BC THEY REALLY WERE BUSTING THEIR TALES AND WERE VERY SHORT STAFFED TO ONLY HAVE ONE OF THEIR ACTING A FOOL .... I TOLD ANOTHER EMPLOYEE AND SHE SAID SHE TOLD HER MANAGER BUT SAID SHE DIDN'T THINK ANYTHING WOULD BE DONE SO CORPORATE REALLY NEEDS TO FIX THE PROBLEM BC SHE SAID THAT MALE EMPLOYEE WAS ACTING A FOOL HAD BEEN ACTING A FOOL ALL DAY A PREVIOUSLY DONE SO...... I TOLD THE FEMALE EMPLOYEE THAT I HADN'T HEARD ANY OF THE GUESTS IN THE RESTAURANT ACTING OR COMPLAINING AS BAD AS HE WAS . ... At the start I was ready to start taking names and throwing blame... I left realizing I had to go back through the line to get the name of the employee who made my visit into a good experience from which I am pulling from in these words of my review.
SHELBY.. You saved the day and should be running that restaurant. I was amazed that your lot the manager as all the issues coming up in a busy chaotic covid dinner rush were gracefully and intelligently delighted outward to suddenly now less panicked coworkers and customer alike. You rock!
I had a tin grade experience the day before when an order I placed was incorrectly bagged and when the fries I asked to be salted extra were instead salts with a sprinkling of fries. I was so upset I kept everything and had it ready to present. I was surprised to find the line was worse today than yesterday and I spent nearly two hours waiting to explore the options with my bag of disappointment and it's accompanied receipt of lies.( I had ordered two qtr pounders with cheese and instead received some awful chikn mess.) soon as we had eye contact it was clear.. I'd let you deliver my wife's baby if we had one in the ready.. And if I had a wife I'd let you run the spousal therapy sessions we would no doubt be needing after my repeating of another woman's name during meal taking.... Shelby..bravo. You wanna come over and I'll sell you some thing other than that which you thought you bought and then wow you with amazing Shelby like orchestration and finesse... Im sure you would have beaten me to it just by being there in my place of business..
