Panera Bread — Restaurant in Athens

I recently visited Panera Bread with high hopes of finding a variety of delicious vegetarian options, but sadly, my experience left much to be desired. I am very disappointed with their limited menu for vegetarians. The only vegetarian salad they offer is the Greek Salad, and as a pescetarian, I was dismayed to find that the only fish option available was the tuna salad.

Although they do have a variety of vegetarian soups, the lack of diverse vegetarian entrees was frustrating. I did enjoy the Autumn Squash Bisque, but I was hoping for more options beyond soups.

My disappointment reached its peak when I tried to customize a salad by removing the chicken, only to discover that it contained bacon, of which I was unaware. Despite my efforts to clarify my dietary preferences, the salad was made with bacon, leaving me feeling quite upset.

To add to my frustration, I was charged extra for adding feta cheese to my salad. While the manager eventually refunded the extra charge, I felt dismissed and unheard during our conversation. Empathy was lacking, and I left feeling disheartened.

I sincerely hope that Panera Bread takes these concerns to heart and expands their menu to be more inclusive of vegetarians. A restaurant of their caliber should be able to offer a variety of satisfying options for all dietary preferences and properly train their staff on the needs of such customers. Until then, I find it difficult to recommend Panera Bread to fellow vegetarians and pescetarians looking for a satisfying and diverse dining...

I’m a door dasher. Came in no one spoke to me in fact a Caucasian woman rolled her eyes at me.A heavy set Caucasian men finally said. Hello, I told him I was there to pick up door dash order. He said they’re working on order now. I said ok thank u. Someone sits the drinks on the counter from my order didn’t say a word to me then shortly after that the lady who rolled her eyes at me places a bag of food on counter so I’m thinking it was for my order because no one else was in store. She comes running behind me with the nastiness attitude saying u picked up wrong order. I said I apologize ma’am . She ignored me. While i enjoy the Panera menu I am very disappointed in this location. It is most convenient to my home but i will drive out of my way rather than go thru this store. No consistency exists here. There is no item I have ever ordered that is made the same way twice. I have ordered more than 30 Cobb salads in the last 2 years and only twice was there Bacon bits and Sliced eggs. I have ordered onion soup more than 20 times and never had Gryere cheese in but 2 of them. I could go on but what's the point. This is a hopeless location. I believe the biggest problem is not one adult works there. Everyone seems to be under 25. I cannot count the times I have been inside dining and seen a terrible lack of customer service.
