Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Athens

All of the women at this store are very hateful! I was accused of treating Elizabeth poorly when she was rude to me when I came in to pick up the food I had ordered. I’ve always gotten a discount here as I’ve been ordering here for years and one day I was informed that I was no longer able to use it. I was not given a reason as to why but Elizabeth said her manager told her not to give out any discounts…. I’m like okay well I don’t have enough cash to pay for the order so OF COURSE I was flustered. I came in to place an order a few days later and when I asked the manager about it I was told that they “don’t give discounts to people who treat their employees poorly”. My attitude changed when I was told I couldn’t receive a discount I had gotten two days prior; there was no explanation initially but now it’s because I treated an employee poorly? I was NEVER asked what happen for me to become upset or even my side of the story but it’s automatically assumed I was in the wrong because she’s “ going to believe her employees that have been there 10 years over the customer”. These ladies are rude and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, lack empathy and are very clearly uneducated on how to resolve issues with customers. I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone. I’m not sure exactly what is going on with this location but over the last couple of years consistency has gone down. Many years ago I used to work for this location and several others in another city. I have done everything in a pizza place there is to do including delivery, I’m just tired of getting poorly constructed pizzas with little or no meat for $25-30 a pop. Ever time we order lately PRICE is up QUALITY is down. Guess that’s the gig now with inflation and all- I expect quality when I pay more for a pizza. Last night I ate 4 pieces and literally I had 4 peices of pepperoni and a few mushrooms under mostly cheese when it should have been 2-3 pieces per slice. Come on Papa Js get...

I literally bypass 2-3 different stores just to come to this one. The employees are ALWAYS nice, and the food quality is immaculate. That wasn’t the case today. There was a totally different group of employees working.. my order was not made right- which NEVER happens- so I called the store. The employees I spoke with were VERY nasty, and wanted to argue with me over a mistake THEY made. As a regular and loyal customer, this is excruciatingly disheartening.
