I need everyone to stop what they're doing and listen. There is a gentleman working at this Smoothie King, who goes by the name Legend, and I am convinced he was sent from a higher plane of existence to bless us with perfect smoothies and unparalleled charisma. I walked in today feeling the weight of a long week, and frankly, I probably looked like it. But the moment I got to the counter, I was greeted by Legend's electric smile. Let's just be honest, the man is distractingly good-looking. But it's his personality that truly shines. I was fumbling with my order, and without missing a beat, he cracked a joke that not only helped me decide but also had me genuinely laughing out loud. It wasn't just a rehearsed customer service line; it was quick, witty, and effortlessly funny. As he was crafting my smoothie—with the kind of focused grace you'd expect from a world-class chef—he kept the good vibes flowing. He was multitasking like a champion, taking other orders and keeping the line moving, all while maintaining his bright, engaging energy. He didn't just take my order; he curated an entire experience. At one point, I was visiting SK every morning. I no longer have to pass by SK to get to work so I do not go every morning, but I do still try to visit 2-3 times/week. Lately, I have not seen my favorite employee. She was always so sweet and kind, greeted me with a smile, seemed genuinely interested in my morning/day, and would even ask about my school year (as I am a teacher). Not only that, she was the ONLY person in that establishment who made my smoothie (I always order the exact same thing) the same way every single visit. Others either don't blend it the thouroughly, or don't add/add too much of an ingredient that throws the taste off, etc. During one of my last visits, I asked if the young lady was on vacation since I had not seen her. The employee who served me told me that not only is the employee I asked about no longer employed there, but that "she was fired." My response was "oh...ok." I was disappointed in hearing this, but I was also a bit mortified that the young lady would volunteer information that she was not specifically asked about. She didn't end with that. She ended up telling me that the ex employee was "doing a lot of things she shouldn't have been doing." Wow. Someone in charge should really school these young ladies on the potential legal ramifications of outing someone's personal business to the general public. My visits had already lessened. I’m leaving this review for a specific employee - Legend - who provided “legendary” service today. I ordered my smoothie via the app. When I got there, it was being mixed by a young lady. Upon serving me, she walked to the back (while Legend was hustling to fulfill drive thru orders). I noticed my smoothie did not “look” right (it wasn’t green; it was a yellowish-green), so I sipped it to be sure of the taste. Immediately , I could tell that it did not taste like it usually does when I order it (it’s all I ever order), and NO peanut butter had been added (despite it being on the ticket that was on my cup). I waited for the young lady to return, but she was sitting down talking to another young lady in the back - both ladies unaware of customer and coworker needs at the front. Legend addressed me and told me he’d be with me shortly. As soon as he was able, HE took care of me - remaking my drink to perfection, exactly how I ordered it.
