Honestly I love the owners of this place HOWEVER, they must be cheap as hell because they charge the most extreme about of money for food that could be bought at a gas station. I got the beef and lamb gyro and it was entirely filled with take tzatziki sauce and there were no other contents. It made it disgusting and I couldn’t even finish it. They make it clear that they don’t care about the quality of food being put out and the money that they charge is the top priority. They clearly have cornered the market on “drunk food” in the athens area so they will continue to stay in business, however, I find it sad that they are taking advantage of college students for their own personal gain. Mr. Souvlaki physically assaulted me infront of his restraunt in the early morning hours of the 30th of June, 2021. I skate down state street all the time, I try not to get in peoples way, and I have a good rapport with obetty's and the workers there. If a buisness asks me to leave i do so. Mr souvlaki came out yelling at me to not skate his stairs, which I promtly stopped skating on. Then as i was doing my line further up the sidewalk he runs from the steps and body checks me, almost knocking me over. He then started hitting me till i hit him with my board to get him off of me. This local business has ALWAYS taken care of me. I love the couple that run it, they've been nothing short of a staple for someone like myself that worked well into the AM hours. I'll miss the familiar faces when I ordered my usual Double meat ribeye gyro. This establishment has proven to me that consistent kindness goes a long way. Since I've left I can honestly say I will miss the staff as well as the food. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food served...
