iāll start by saying this⦠me and my bf love eating whataburger especially when nothing else is open, but this is the second time in the same month that iāve had an issue with the people who take the orders. i know itās annoying when customers ask for fresh fries, iāve worked in food before so i totally get it. however, when you work in food you donāt get the right to catch an attitude nor be pissy over someone asking for fresh fries, especially when you arenāt the one making the food. the first time i asked for fresh fries the lady taking my order caught an attitude saying āwe always make them fresh.ā (let me add, my bf use to work here a couple months back so ik for a fact they donāt make fresh fries every time AND i even apologized for asking for them freshā¦). i let it go bc like i said, totally understand. well this time, (not the same lady as the first time) i kindly ask for fresh fries w our meal and im met w the WORST attitude abt it. āuhm- we literally have no other choice so.ā but very very harshly. oh and btw, the first time AND this time the fries are indeed NOT even fresh. cold and soggy. i told the lady ālast time i asked for fresh fries they didnāt come fresh so thatās why iām asking again, but thank you.ā i remained kind. my bf and i both have been blowing up their phone calling and we havenāt gotten an answer yet, thatās the only reason iām making this review. i get it, weāre all human, we all have bad days, especially in times like this. but i was nothing but kind and asked for one simple thing⦠even if they werenāt gonna give us fresh fries (which obviously they werenāt either way but-) she couldāve just said yes and moved along. this is so irresponsible and unprofessional. we wonāt be eating at this whataburger for a while, but when we decide to grab a bite from there again and im met w attitude, im letting out ALL of my built up anger and yāall are gonna wish yāall wouldāve answered that phone. talk to your workers or something bc iām fed up and iām never the one to be a karen or start any...

After 20 minutes (we were talking with another table and watching the kitchen prepare what looked like, a large take-out order) we went up and checked on the order, after noticing everyone else had gotten their food after us. We overheard a worker bringing food to another table and apologizing for the wait, so I just assumed they were out of something and it was slowing down the processes. A couple of minutes later, a worker came to our table to get out receipt because they lost the order. We wait another 10 minutes and they bring us a tray of food, no forks though and missing a meal (they had the receipt, they should not have forgotten one of three meals on the tray). After seeing how upset the other table was, we realized we weren't the only ones that were having this issue. We never saw a manager. The Canton Whataburger has a manager that checks on customers the entire time. Our food was not what we expected. The cheese was not melted in the taquito, the honey butter chicken biscuit was cold and there was hardly any honey butter on it. As soon as we got our food (over 30 minutes after ordering), we heard a third table going through the same issue. - We went to Canton Whataburger (always has great customer service) the next morning and realized that the prices there are cheaper. Also, the sausage gravy cup is twice the size at Canton vs Athens.... less money and more food. I understand different sales tax but just thought it was strange that they charge different amounts at the two locations and they serve...

We watched people in the other lane come and go so quickly! I called in and made a complaint this is what the complaint stated "Guest stated she was awaiting in drive through for 20 minutes and witnessed cars in the B line moving quickly She stated that she asked the manager named Justin why the wait was so long and he responded in a very rude and dismissive manner."
