Village Grill & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Athol

The food was good, not great. Pizza seems to be their strongsuit. The pita lacked flavor but had a great hearty consistency and fluffy texture. It should be served warm, however, in my opinion. The delivery was fast (thanks, Doordash).The Greek salad lacked variety, consisting only of sliced black olives, carrot shreds, romaine lettuce, cucumber, feta cheese, and sliced tomatoes. I would prefer the crunchier lettuce, personally, but the tomatoes were ripe and the olives weren't bitter. In all, I ordered two full greek salads with extra pita and extra dressing and a small cheese pizza with garlic for delivery and it came out to nearly $45, including delivery fees. I thought that was pricey. I would say the meal that was delivered was worth about $25 total, plus whatever delivery fees and tips there may be. Food is decent. Better than Athol pizza, and Zetas, just saying. Good selection of food cooked to your liking. Fast service but no delivery service which sucks, but they do have curbside pickup if you don't want to or can't go In. I would and will order again and out of all restaurants in this area downtown this is the one you should go to. Best BLTs ever!!
