Customer Service needs some work, but the food is delicious. I've been waiting to try this place for over a year, as I live almost a hour away so finding the time plus the location had been the hold up.
First let me say, the new location is like THAt! It just feels good, and its comfortable and welcoming...Not sure how the previous location was, but this fits the restaurant and I'm sure they will have to move again as the business offers something a lot of other restaurant don't (good quality food that is real, and the seasoning is There).... they will continue to grow (Amen)
So okay, back to the food as I've waited a while to come here. I order alot because I've been waiting All 5stars, Except 1
My order Glori-Fried Chicken Biscuit * Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit * Lemon Pepper Chicken Biscuit ** Hashbrown Casserole * Grits *
My friend ordered Chicken and Waffles * Grits with cheese *
My experience and rating explanation. We arrived around 11:30ish, decently packed but not overwhelmed. We were meet at the door, and the greeter (nice lady) asked our preference on seating. We sat outside, and she let us know "Corey" would be taking our order. WE DIDNT SEE "COREY" until after 12pm and when he showed up, I realized he had been out there previously and just didn't greet us or anything. It happens so Cool no problem, wrong!!!!
Well after 12:40pm the lady who originally sat us, comes out as ask if we were getting our food to go. What?! We chimed in and let her know part of the order was to go, but where is the food? Take out or dine in, we wanted our foodπ she apologize and rushes to get the food... she returns 5-10mins later and yall THE FOOD WAS LIKE THAT!
Side note: there was a Bomb Biscuits employee (maybe manager or somebody in charge) sitting across from us on the phone making business decisions our entire visit, and saw this happening and did not intervene (he was busy) but nevertheless we set there for a while waiting ...

Anyhow, I plan to go back just not soon as they are kind of prices but I get it... lol, enjoy and...

My 3 star review is based on the lack of integrity and transparency around food allergens / exposure to food allergens at this establishment. Here is my experience:
I have a violent, sensitive peanut allergy (as a huge percentage of the US population does). When I disclosed this to the cashier, she confirmed for me what items were exposed to peanuts (which was EVERY FRIED ITEM ON THE MENU- as they fry in peanut oil). I was bummed but not shocked as this is, unfortunately, a common reality for we peanut sensitive folk. I placed my order for what I understood to be peanut-free food based on the cashier's recommendation.
While waiting, the employees and I shared stories about our allergies. Talking about hers, jogged her memory to show me an extensive allergen exposure list the establishment put together for patrons. I was baffled and relieved that she showed me the list!!! Cause minutes later, my food arrived with 2-3 items that were exposed to.... you guessed it! PEANUTS. Items that were not fried. Items that were cooked nowhere near the fryers. The ingredients were the culprit. The cashier without hesitation took the food back and adjusted my order with the new items I chose after going over the list and menu for the second time in a row.
That allergen list was undetectable underneath at least 10 menus. Out of sight. Out of mind. I couldn't believe my eyes... I shared my disappointment and concern with the cashier. Stating that "This list is too serious to be underneath menus on this counter. It should be plastered on the walls for all to see. I could have lost my life!!!"
She apologized and agreed, then reassured me that she would speak to the owners about doing just that. It's nice to have a list of all the things that could end a person's life, but it does nothing if it isn't visible and hinges on the busy, busy cashier's memory to pull out and show concerned customers... that's all.
Please switch to peanut-free ingredients and frying oils. I would love to have an alternative to chik-fil-a that I can patronize and not worry about my throat closing up as a...
Β Β Β Read morePretty standard breakfast food affair.
Ordered the bomb breakfast plate, single blueberry pancake, and chicken biscuit on a black pepper bacon biscuit.
Again, pretty standard, bacon and eggs. Eggs were scrambled, cooked perfectly, light, fluffy, and creamy. Bacon was thick and crispy. The biscuits are pretty good, thick and heavy. The plain biscuit was a little more cooked and fluffy than the black pepper biscuit, which was a bit denser and doughier. Nothing to write home about.
The fried chicken portion was not good. I probably got a bad/small piece because mine was tiny compared to the persons next to me.. and I get it, it can differ a lot from cut to cut. Mine was very dry, chewy, and very greasy... not great. Barely any meat.
They offer house made peach jam and strawberry jelly, both were great on the biscuits. Also ordered a side of their house made hot honey and honey butter. Both good.
For a michelin recognized place, I was expecting just a bit more.
The front seating area is bombarded with ac/fans, to the point I moved seats to avoid my food getting cold.
The restraunt itself is black owned/operated and the kitchen staff was busting their @ss and really did a great job at getting the food out quick, hot, and cooked to order. The wait staff was attentive, constantly checking on everyone, how their food was, if they needed refills. Great service.
Good spot for some bacon, eggs, and a biscuit. I personally wouldn't order the fried chicken, but everything else was great.
Parking was easy and there's plenty of availability right in front of the store. Free as well. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Great location right next to a park and it wasn't...
