I love the PERC location in Decatur. I go like every other day. The espresso is wonderful. I was very stoked to have one land in my backyard. The coffee at this location is great.
But here's the catch. The seating situation is uniquely bad. Every single table that was available wobbled like I was at sea. Not able to sit at a table with my coffee. I went outside to sit down at the bar. The seating there is also a struggle. The bar is far too high to for the chairs that are used for it. The other seats with the outdoor tables were another option. Each one wobbles, the chairs are too low for the heigh of the tableâI'm talking low shoulders. The chairs are also the deep sat and reclined position. The type that you'd want drinking a cocktail outside late at night. That type beat. Not too sure how to enjoy the new location without being able to sit comfortable :((((
Edit: yâall, Iâm begging you for some viable chairs outside. So much space out here. Not a single comfortable...
Read moreCame here a few weeks ago and ordered the BLT, but with no bacon. I should've checked the sandwich before getting home, because they still added the bacon to it. In the trash that went.
I decided to try again today because it's conveniently located to me, but had another disappointing experience. During ordering, I asked if I could add tomato to the bagel & cream cheese. I was told no, no modifications. I asked if they could put the tomato on the side and I'd pay for it, but nope they're "not allowed to do that."
Which, not the cashier's fault, but clearly the owners have some idiotic rules. To add insult to injury, I get home and have been given a truly laughable amount of cream cheese. (you'd think if they're being this cheap, they'd want my money for the side of tomato lol)
I also ordered a matcha, which was made within seconds. It is sickly sweet, so clearly it's a pre-mix and not legitimate matcha.
I will not be back, and...
Read moreI have visited this specific location a handful of times, and each experience with their customer service has been awful. I feel unwelcome here. And it seems to be with the individuals taking my order and doing my food. Sometimes, the other employees smile and are welcoming, but it just so happens that each time I visit and get to order, they are rude. They barely make eye contact, donât reply with a greeting, and act incredibly pretentious. Upon observation, they do act friendly with a certain demographic so I donât consider this a safe space.
For the price of the coffee, the food and the fact this establishment is a gentrified addition to the community, I will not be patronizing this business.
I have visited other locations and this is the only location that has rude staff. If you want to try their coffee, I recommend visiting their ...
