Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Atlanta

4 out of 5 other occasions - completely if not overly satisfied with the food and service at my local branch of Dairy Queen. It’s pretty hard to go wrong with ice cream. They make an amazing and juicy grilled chicken sandwich. And for being picky about my Onion Rings this is one of 2 places I like em. I love fast food so I eventually try em everywhere. Crisp and slightly sweet breaded….yummm. So I eat half of my mans in trade of half my fries. Then we discovered Jalitos. Served hot and fresh, come in one size, breaded and fried jalapeño strips served with ranch dip. I’m kinda a wimp for spicy but these are so good I fight my way thru the firey ones. I’m not much for dips or ranch per se but this is a must. Ranch cools the hot and enhances the flavor. If u sneak a taste on the way home u will find U have ran out of jalitos before u get the ranch. U don’t want to cheat urself this way. Amazing. I ordered only the sandwich and a side of jalitos. No fries no rings. I order a chicken sandwich no sauce so to wait on grilled chicken is not unusual for me at many places I eat. That is not an issue for me. I appreciate this. I got home and rarely eating solo I didn’t find myself missing my man (sorry honey) but rather the little brat in me realizes the jalitos are all mine this time. New to TX, go big or go home….This is what I unpacked. Overcooked or dirty grease, it’s hard to tell. The one size container should offer a healthy serving of product. This clearly shows with lack of grease marks that what u see is what I got. I only live 4 to 6 minutes sway from them. These jalitos tasted as if they were at least 20 Minutes old before I ordered them and that they packed them and left sitting for the 20 minutes prep time for my sandwich. Even the Ranch wasn’t able to savage them for me. Left feeling burned and wishing I had gotten some ice cream to comfort me thru this difficult time. In any food service job out there one must ask themselves as they prepare a. Order or bag an order up if the quality they are serving up something that they would serve their own families? Something they as a consumer would be please with and feel they got a good value? Have u made them feel welcome and know they will remember ur smile or ur friendly approach? Make a return customer. Make it a meal they would be happy...

Absolutely the worst location I've been to. I paid for a blizzard and After 15 minutes I had to ask them "hey is someone going to make my blizzard they then proceeded to make it. She brings me out a cup 3/4 full. I say it's not full she walks behind the counter throws it in the trash alsong with 2 made ice cream cones who she had no idea whose they were. I say don't make a new one I just want my money back. She then tells the manager "somebody get this fool a refund I'm about to loose it with him. The black girl running the cash register is the one who rang me up but never made the item while I stood there over 15 mins. The tall skinny black girl working the drive through and serving tables made the drink with the horrible attitude.

I would strongly recommend you don't waste your time supporting this business it's very poor customer service and long wait times. Thanks a lot for ruining my day I now had to get back to work you wasted my lunch time. I wasn't the only unhappy customer...

I am redoing my review here! When Mrs. Sue one of the co-owners is there it runs smoothly despite some of the underlying problems. Alot of the time you go in there staff is to busy playing around, on cellphones or in general have the genuine look on their faces and in their eyes I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE! That being said with everything going on should be very welcome and grateful anyone ventures out and chooses to spend their money at your establishment at this point and time. The remodel on the inside does spruce place up. Outside could use some work. From a health standpoint everyone should be wearing gloves, washing their hands when switching from handling money to directly handling or preparing food very unsanitary. Those issues need to be addressed. I believe place could be revived issues permanently fixed if the right people know them. I hope both parties meaning both owners read this and realizes their are...
