Earlier this week we went to have our battery and alternator checked, we were told by the manager that checked them that our battery was bad but that our alternator was fine. We decided to go ahead and by the battery from them. (I didn’t catch her name but she was friendly, that’s the only reason this review got a second star) Well the other manager (I also didn’t catch his name) was not friendly or professional. After the customers he was helping left he came over to our cashier and started mocking those customers. About a day or two later we went back because the problem still wasn’t resolved. We were helped by the second manager I mentioned. He told us to unplug the battery cables to reset the battery and that was it. Today we went to ABC and we were informed that our alternator was bad and that we were only running off of the battery and to go straight home because we would breakdown if we kept driving on it. All of that hassle could have been avoided to begin with and we also could have saved the money from the battery and put that towards a new alternator considering that was the...
Read moreWent to Auto Zone in Atlanta Texas today because I was having battery problems. I had to get a new battery and unfortunately bought it from the Walmart in Atlanta Texas and told them the connection problem I was having. The problem was still happening with the new battery & the mechanic at Walmart said nothing about the corrosion on the connection ring that was clearly damaged. So I went to Auto Zone and Chris Cliffe went to my truck and immediately saw the problem and replaced it in 5 minutes. I give very high praise’s to Cliff and Auto Zone for helping me with this. Read moreUpdated review. I gave them a 2nd chance. Best experience ever. Mike K. Was awesome. He was super helpful. He also entertained my grandchild while I was looking for a part on my phone. He went to my car twice. Once to get the part I needed so he could compare it to the selection they have to find the one I needed. Once he did that he went back to my car and inserted the new piece to ensure the parts were going to work. To top it off, my grandchild wanted a candy treat. She couldn't decide which one she wanted.
