Visited on a Saturday night after making a last minute 9:15pm reservation on Resy, which I highly recommend. I doubt we would've been seated without a reservation. We arrived a little after 9:15pm, but they offer a 15 minute grace period which was nice and helpful. I checked us in at the hostess stand while my boyfriend parked, but our table wasn't ready so we sat and waited. After about 20 minutes, our table was finally ready. Because of the wait we were given a glass of complimentary champagne. Our server, Ryan, came to introduce herself, and then gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. I decided on butternut squash ravioli and my bf ordered the salmon with couscous and broccolini. Our food came out pretty quickly and was good. I just wish the portion sizes were a little larger. We also ordered a Smokey Robinson, which reminded me an Old Fashioned, and a Down in Georgia. Both drinks were good and strong, but I enjoyed the Smokey Robinson more. We also ordered some fingerling potatoes after our meal, they were ok, nothing special. They have an inside, outside patio, and another side called the Zoo Bar. The patio was pretty spacious and looks like it might be a vibe once it warms up. The inside is small and little tight. I only peaked in Zoo Bar and all I saw was the bar. Customer service was A1 and the manager was nice and helpful. We appreciated everything from everyone. It's also black owned. I highly recommend giving them a visit!

So I came in from out of town I was so excited to go to the zoobar because people were raving about it all over social media. It could’ve been just the server I had but I would never go again. The server brought me the wrong food then had me confused thinking that was what I ordered so I just went with it and ate it. Then she overcharge my ticket rang up bottles of water twice on my ticket. The drink I got she presented to me as if it was a drink on the menu but actually charged me for two shots that I never received. The worst part about all of this is I tried to get it to her attention multiple times she never really caught on because she was so focused on catering to the table next to us who had someone that was semi famous. On top of all of this because we were a party of five she received a $70 tip for horrible service. My food was very dry. The only thing that really taste good was the cauliflower. We had to send a dish back from being over cooked. And it was so much going on I couldn’t even get her to get me a manager so speak to I pay over price for horrible food and service. So sad because it is a...

A friend of mine had her birthday dinner here on a Friday night. Service was sporadic, as there were only two waitresses servicing the indoor dining area. As we were leaving the restaurant we were aggressively accosted by security in a dark hallway and told we couldn’t leave because the negligent waitress who didn’t check the table after our departure accused someone in our party of not paying. After being held hostage for 5+ minutes by security and the owner - who told us our “money was no longer welcome there “ - the waitress came out and confirmed that cash had been left in the table for the tab in question and that everyone in our party had, in fact, paid. I guess our money was welcome since no one offered a refund after the all the embarrassment and false accusations. Other than that, Don’t sit in the back corner of the dining area unless you want staff walking past you to empty garbage cans (with no trash bags) full of waste while you eat. Giving two stars because the scallops...
