I have ordered from teriyaki a few times and learned very quickly that I need to address how I like my salmon cooked because it ends up dry otherwise. Like any other time, this request on my order was no different. I asked on 2 separate occasions, via phone call after placing my order, as well as when I walked in, to confirm my request was received and adhered to. Unfortunately, I still received burnt salmon. I have reached out about this problem and left info for the manager to contact me. After about a week of reaching out I finally received a call back from someone claiming to be the manager. He didn’t really provide a name but he was not very professional to be considered “the manager”. He talked like a shift leader pretty much but unfortunately this was my only mode of contact. While on the phone with him he told me to supply my name and info again (even though he had the name and number because he was the one to call me back, but hey , you want my name, I’ll provide it again since there is obviously some confusion on the restaurant’s end. He couldn’t find my order so he provided me with a number to text pictures of my food and order information to and still not much had been resolved. 22$ gone down the drain that can’t even be accommodated and no real remorse for the lack of satisfaction in my order. I hardly leave negative reviews unless the simplest instructions aren’t followed. I have worked in customer service for a long time and the way this store handles complaints is not the way to go about it. How does a request of salmon to not get fried too hard turn into burnt salmon that looks like a slab of charred ribs? Maybe leaving this review will actually get someone who cares about their customers to actually reach out and get this issue resolved properly. I shouldn’t have to argue that my food was burnt and I would like it to be resolved in a respectful and prompt manner. I was respectful during my complaint so I would appreciate the reciprocity.
Update I can say that the general manager that handled my complaint was very helpful in getting my issue resolved. I appreciate the patience and time you took to make sure my salmon was correctly cooked the second time around. For some reason the rice and grilled veggies were kind of bland that day like a lack of seasoning. I’ve had it taste better at times but not sure what happened there. Overall, I did enjoy my...
Read moreI never leave negative reviews but this experience has pushed me over that line. I utilize the Teriyaki Madness app to place my orders, which the restaurant uses DoorDash to deliver their orders. At 3:27pm I placed my order and was promptly texted with the ETA of 4:05pm along with a tracking link. As I track my order, the time pushes back to 4:42pm (not a problem) at 4:30pm I check again and it’s pushed to 5:30pm (now a problem). I call the location to inquire if the driver has picked up the order or if it’s still there. The gentleman that answered the phone lets me know that the driver hasn’t showed up and he’s looking at the order sitting on the cart. I ask if I can just cancel the order and get a refund and he satiates that I’ll have to go through DoorDash. I explain to him that I order through their app, not DoorDash, and he places me on hold to ask someone else. A different man comes on the line and with an attitude, asks what I need him to help me with. I asked if his co-worker explained what I needed and he said yes he did. (Why are you asking as if you do not know???). He then repeats to me what I asked the other gentleman and then says he can’t do anything about it. I explain again that I need a refund because I am not willing to “hope” my order makes it to me. He then asks for my name (I give it), he then says “It’s not on the system”, mind you, my order is sitting IN FRONT of them on the pickup cart. He didn’t ask me for an order number but right when I was about to give it, he then says that he sees it in the system now. He informs me that he refunded me (I thought you couldn’t) and if I want the receipt, then I can come up there and get it. I haven’t been refunded. So I’ve basically been robbed of $29.08. I’ve ordered from this establishment a lot, but I will NEVER order or go to this place...
Read moreIn all fairness the very first time I visited this place it was really good. Since then it has not been anything to talk about. I thought I’d give it another chance and pick up my order instead of getting DoorDash. Mind you this is the third time my order has been very underwhelming but I initially liked it so much. I thought I’d give it another try. I got the teriyaki breast chicken bowl veggies only asked for the veggies to be well done they were soaked in water. It was like soup in my bowl, there was so much water… the chicken tasted boiled with a squirt of teriyaki on top. No flavor whatsoever. Something is very wring… so far from the very first time that I experience this restaurant. I hope they can train the people across the board because today was disappointing and I probably will not go back. Just turned off completely. You don’t always want a coupon you just want a good meal and it’s been subpar. Had two people asked me about the place one person that was coming in the door and someone else who saw me with the bag. I did give them credit for the very first time I came. It was great after that not so much and I told them that. they need to get that under control because a lot of restaurants are successful by word of mouth. I was hungry and did not finish the bowl. It didn’t taste fresh either, which was a little odd. New business but I am airing this here. Hoping there...
