Hardee’s — Restaurant in Attalla

As you can see from my reviews I rarely give a fast food place 5 stars, but after stopping here for lunch today (Sept 6, 2018 about 2pm) I am must say it was a pleasant surprise.

I ordered the #8 which is the 1/4 lb Thickburger with fries and drink. I usually order the Frisco burger or the Thickburger, and they're usually just average, usually been sitting for a but and mushy, etc, but this burger today was freshly made, and I know because I saw it being made, and it was made just right, fresh tomatoes, onions and lettuce, and burger wasn't dry and bread wasn't soggy. Burger patty was hot and veggies were cold like they're supposed to be.

I'm not much of a french fry eater but I was hungry so I got a small fry. Again, they were fresh and piping hot, and tasted great.

I let the manager and other employees talk me into getting the Froot Loops donuts, and at first I was like "I like froot loops but I dunno about them as donuts " but the other employees assured me I would love them, and man I'm glad I listened. I love these things!

So the place was clean and well maintained, all of the condiments, napkins, straws and everything were well stocked, coke had lots of fizz, etc.

As far as customer service and professionalism, this place takes the cake. I have been to thousands of fast food restaurants and done reviews on hundreds, and I wish every fast food place had a crew like this. I was served by a female manager and an employee named Tara, these ladies were awesome. Helped me decide on my meal choice and also suggested the donuts, and were very professional, courteous and friendly. As a matter of fact, every employer there on this shift was smiling, looked and acted professional.

I am seriously impressed. Promote everyone here and move them to all the surrounding Hardee's and let them show other crews how it's...

Service is Always slow! Mornings you cannot get served in a timely manner. They put people orders ahead of others. No system at all. I blame this totally on management. My husband and I both ordered breakfast platter, neither platter had eggs on them. Not one employee caught that. It was the manager who handed me our food. I had to point out to manager there wasn't any eggs, which seems like I was a bother to her! So we passed this incident off and decided to go back the following week which was the exact same experience. New management is needed. Today my daughter and I go for a burger no line, they was not busy, new employee still in training doing best she can do, while still learning but manager couldn't seem to get off phone long enough to help train this girl, who was only employee there beside the cook. I wanted the ADVERTISED item of sliders at happy hour from 2-5 (time was around 3), manager snapped and said that sale is over with, there was 4 huge signs advertising this special. I was informed that she would let me have it for sale price, with a very rude attitude. I suggested that they take signs down. Manager just ignored me continue talking on phone. Will not be returning. Wished I knew who regional...

We used the drive thru, even though this review page doesn't offer a drive thru option. I guess I'll pick take out. Anyway, the mushroom Swiss burger hits like a mofo yall. If you like mushrooms, go get you some of that. They got this gravy sauce that melts into the Swiss cheese, and those thick burger patties they using got erbody beat, can I get a amen? I guess they are short staffed because their dining room has been closed a while now. Once we Paid at the drive thru window, it took about 4 or 5 minutes to get our food. Which ain't bad considering there was only 3 folks in there working,that I could see. Anyway, the food was hot and the order was correct, the overworked and underpaid and underappreciated staff was friendly and polite. The man at the window hands were very clean too because I always be checking people who handle my foods hands. Grocery sto, liquor sto, fast food sto, restaurant sto.... I be lookin.... mmmm hmmm...

So when you be hawngry in Attalla, and you ain't gots no time fo stoppin and goin in... go get chu some Hardee's over by Wally... they'll take care of yo...
