Read moreWe really wanted to like this establishment based off of reviews. I do not know if it is just an off day or what today. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak lunch, I it seriously lacked seasoning and the gravy still tasted like flour. The same gravy issue with my daughters biscuits and gravy. I ordered the God Father sandwich, it said it had pesto on it but it was nowhere to be seen and the sandwich was dry beyond belief with no seasoning. The restaurant was beautiful and clean and the hostess was as sweet as she can be. However our waitress after coming by once right as our food was served was not seen again until the meal was well past over when she finally appeared with the check, and our team glasses had long been empty. when my husband handed her cash she asked if he wanted change and didn't seem happy when he said yes. I never advocate anyone to not leave a tip however when the wait staff disappears and doesn't do their job and then seems to expect a tip I have an issue. Before you ask, no the restaurant was not busy while we were there and they seemed overstaffed if anything. I really hope we just caught them on a bad day. We will give them another shot in the future and update the review...

I decided to give them another try yesterday, as I do love supporting local businesses and I literally live around the corner. I called in an order and was told it would be ready for pickup in 5-10 minutes. I arrived in 15 minutes (assuming it wouldnât be ready in 20) and was told my order would be ready soon⌠I waited about 6 minutes.
(This time, the service was better - the owner greeted me at the door and directed me to the counter at the back for takeout. However I was left standing there for a few minutes as no one took my payment for a bit⌠the 2 girls were too busy chatting I guess lol)
Got the food home and everything was bland. The eggs and the hash browns tasted like they werenât seasoned at all. The bacon was limp. The pancakes were extremely dense and dry đđ˝
Sadly I wonât be returning. The prices are great but the food just...
