Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Auburn Hills

I gave this Chick-fil-A three tries before making up my mind. I am now sure that this location is not even close to industry standard for the Chick-fil-A brand. I was recently in Dallas and went to two different Chick-fil-A . I’ve been to Valdosta, Georgia and Atlanta area in Georgia and even the other Chick-fil-A locations around here: the one on Hall Road, and on Bog Beaver and absolutely every other Chick-fil-A location I’ve been to is the absolutely same. They are like a precision oiled machines. The most effective restaurant chain I’ve ever been to bar none. I always thought they are the most well run effective efficient restaurant I’ve ever been to, but not this location. This location is well the only word is unmotivated and lackadaisical. They get orders wrong that’s what stuns me better check your order here because they get it wrong. I don’t know what’s wrong with this and I’m really surprised that Chick-fil-A. this location is not even a fraction as busy as I have seen other restaurants other restaurants I’ve been to other locations that are 10 times busier and they’re not even backed up; but this one is not ever that busy and still has cars sitting in VIP waiting several other cars backed up and they’re not even busy for what you think of for Chick-fil-A around the nation The company allows this because it’s really obvious that something is off here at this restaurant. Many people I’ve talked to are saying the same thing. The food is not up the same standard the service or lack of I’m not even sure what it is is. It’s missing. Have been coming here with my husband since it pretty much opened and haven’t had one bad experience until the last visit which was only a few days ago. I ordered on the mobile app for pickup at the drive thru and when we got our order, my husband’s sandwich was someone else’s order entirely. He had ordered a regular sandwich and then added tomato and lettuce on, however the sandwich he got was a spicy deluxe - and he doesn’t do spice! I ordered the cool wrap and I’ve had it several times at this location, only this time there was barely any chicken in it! It was all at the top to make it look like it was loaded, two bites and it was gone!

I left some feedback for the restaurant not thinking much of it, however I just received a PHONE CALL, you heard me right, a phone call, from someone called Keith who works there. He was extremely apologetic over the phone and kept reassuring me they’ll do better, and then proceeded to tell me he was going to email me some free items to compensate me.

I’ve never ever heard of a restaurant calling you back after a bad experience but let me tell you, it made the world of difference. The customer service at this particular branch is impeccable and the fact that Keith went out of his way to call me and apologize for our experience was just above and beyond.

This is our local chick-fil-a so we will continue to come here, hopefully this bad experience was just a fluke and someone was having a bad day (hopefully they’re better now!). Highly recommend this branch, the people, the atmosphere, the food (at least every other time we’ve been) and most of all the customer service is just out of this world.

THE worst Chick fil a I've ever been to. Yes, they are all busy but this one is more so because they're doing their own thing not consistent with corp standards. Unbelievably disorganized, severe lack of common sense or self awareness by the employees. Pretty sure the guy giving out food in drive through was very high. There were no napkins, ketchup or sauces. When I told them they need to communicate to people in line WHY they are stuck for 25 MINUTES in a drive through lane unable to get out...and direct traffic to the other lane, that IS moving, the girl just looked at me with a blank stare. Why are you all working here? Do you not know your job is SERVICE? If you all can't master fast food, you should be very worried about your future. Having been to so many other Chick-fil-a's in CA, I KNOW someone taught you to say "Sorry ma'am".

They were delivering food to people behind us. You serve chicken and fries. We have only 2 meals. Why are people behind us getting their chicken and fries first? AND you don't have us move up to the waiting spots. So that means these poor people are sitting stuck in the drive through behind us. We waited 30 mins total.
