Your Auburn Hills, MI restaurant on Opdyke is a mess. I usually go to the Lake Orion restaurant but because of construction, I wanted to try Auburn Hills. First off, my order made online to be picked up was cancelled with no explanation. When I went to pick up my food, this worker is yelling at me to "put a mask on" despite the fact that nobody else was in the store, I was just there to grab my pre-order, there is a massive plexiglass partition over the registers, and that the 4 other workers I saw (plus the one yelling at me) all had masks but none were being worn correctly. They either had the mask hanging on their chin or just below their nose. So why yell at me when you aren't even following protocol? And I'm 20 ft away from you and you're behind the glass. Then my order was cancelled? So I left the inside and drove into the drive thru to order what I originally had, the $20 fill up. The girl taking the order, who was very nice by the way, told me it'd be a 15 minute wait. I was pretty mad and told her about the cancellation. She offered me a free drink while I waited. She was very cool and kept me from not wanting to order from KFC ever again. Plus she is the sole reason you get 2 stars...
Read moreWhen I got to the drive through window, the girl asked what I had ordered and I confirmed. I got all the way home to find out I had the wrong order and was charged more for the wrong order. I came back to the location. Went back to drive thru because the lobby isn't open. I tell them at the window that my order was wrong and I was charged wrong. And the manager was extremely rude. He said "mam it's only 2$, is it that big of a problem?" I was very nice to understand that things get busy, but I just wanted the correct food and the difference in my money back. He told me to pull forward. 20 minutes later I get to the window and he is still giving me a hard time over 2$ and asked why I couldn't just eat what I was given. Then he walked away and started yelling at the poor girl working the window. She then asked if I could pull up and they would bring my food out to me I said no problem and I pulled up I sat in the parking lot for an additional 15 minutes before my order came out and it was wrong again for the second time. At this point I had been messing with this location for 45 minutes and it wasn't worth it to continue to deal with that manager's attitude and also he refused to give me my over...

The manager "Toya" literally argued with me that my mobile order had to be picked up inside and that it wasn't ready, which was a lie, the order had been ready for 15 minutes. She was just being lazy and combative. So here I am trapped between their concrete curbs, with vehicles in front and back. I can't get out to go in and get the order. I finally get to the window, and they continue to argue with me, telling me that they can't hand the food through the window. When they finally look, and see that the food is sitting right there in the bag, they hand it out without the drinks. They then tell me that I have to pour my own drinks and come into the store. Why have a drive thru? It is of note that our office orders from here once a week, last week they refused to put the chicken in the famous bowl on the side. Apparently the employees of this location just want to argue and give the absolute least amount of service. This appears to be a systemic problem after seeing first hand how the manager (Toya) operates. There are better places to get fried chicken nearby (Manhattan Chicken, Popeyes) we will be going there...
