In late 2022, my husband and I went into Baumhowers Victory Grill of Auburn with our grandson who was 10 at the time ....Our waiter was Brandon... Service was absolutely perfect... He made sure our order was made just as we ordered and suggested my grandson get the Gooey burger... Well, remembering the wonderful service we had about a year or so ago, we decided to request Brandon as our waiter on 11/12/2023 Saturday... My grandson had already said, "Grammy, it would be great if we could have that same waiter"... Brandon did not disappoint... I had no idea he would remember my grandson, but he absolutely did... He recalled how he thought there was no way my grandson would eat that whole burger... He greeted us with his super personality and always had a smile... He got our drink orders, cracked a few funnies here and there, and kept us laughing... He got our drinks, then took our order... He made sure our order got to us as we wanted it and everything was on point... All the while, still having that vibrant, outgoing personality that we love in a server / waiter... One thing we loved was that he was super attentive and would make sure to look our way when coming through to other tables... He even came to our table and told my grandson, "NO WAY YOU ALREADY ATE ALL THAT"... He made my grandson laugh and his face lit up everytime Brandon came around... When we started to leave, my grandson held his fist out to give Brandon a fist bump... He grabbed my grandson and said, "No, Baby, bring it in" and gave him a big ol' hug... It was the sweetest thing I had ever seen... He started to walk away, but I stopped him and told him I had to get a picture of him with our grandson, Ashton... He told Ashton to be sure to come back and see him soon... Brandon mentioned that he is 24... His girlfriend was the one that told him he would make a great server and she was so right... What a wonderful, upstanding young man he is!!! And judging by the post I made in a group on FB, he is loved by many customers that come into Baumhowers of Auburn..

Updated review 2/15/25: The food was MUCH better than the last time dining here in 2023. Portion sizes were good, flavors were good and not salt bombs (like out last visit), and great wait staff that took care of everyone who hung around at their tables for the Auburn vs Alabama basket ball game (War Eagle for the Win!) Original review from 2023: We finally were able to try this restaurant when visiting my son as there wasn't much of a wait due to Auburn having a bye. We've tried dining at this restaurant before but didn't want to wait 60+ minutes, so we were happy to get in with only a 10 minute wait for a table this time. The menu looked fantastic with great pictures and lots of options... but looks were very deceiving for the entrees. We really enjoyed our appetizers, but the dinners were pure salt bombs that were hard to eat, and the food did not appear like the menu pictures (and the server agreed and brought out more shrimp for the sauce on the Geaux Fish). My son's wings were pretty flavorless except for salt. If it wasn't for the fried mozzarella and fried pickle appetizers which were very good, I would have been forced to give this restaurant two stars for the entrees as they weren't very memorable or frankly enjoyable. Perhaps it was an off night, or perhaps we ordered the wrong entrees, considering the great reviews this restaurant has from others. We will likely give this restaurant another try in the future, but we definitely will not order those entrees again.

My daughter picked Baumhower's because she had eaten at another location before and really wanted me to try it. My goodness gracious was she right. First of all, they actually have Pepsi products which I appreciated so much! We both really appreciated their mocktail menu because that was the first one we had actually seen where they were celebrated. More importantly, the food we got was so extremely yummy! There are many options to choose from that all sounded amazing. However, I am a burger girl at heart and they didn't disappoint one bit. My bacon cheeseburger was absolutely delicious from the kitchen not too long after we ordered and both of our meals were perfect. My daughter felt like having chicken tenders and they were actually super tasty and fresh. They didn't taste like they had sat in a freezer for months at a time. We also ordered a hamburger steak meal to take home for my husband and it was also cooked perfectly. We did visit right before the dinner rush and the restaurant was just starting to get a little busier so our service was great and they offered a military discount as per the time of my review.

My family and I chose to dine at this restaurant to watch the Final Four Basketball game and were pleased with the warm and inviting atmosphere. The seating capacity is generous, and the outdoor dining area is a significant advantage. The multiple big screen TVs strategically placed throughout the establishment provide an excellent viewing experience. The cuisine was superb, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter displayed exceptional courtesy, attentiveness, and helpfulness. The white fish over rice with shrimp etouffee was a culinary highlight, reminiscent of New Orleans. The Havana Chicken was equally impressive, and the Gooey Fries were a delightful accompaniment. The various salad selections are a big plus. One can get full from one of their many flavorful salads. The dipping chicken strips with sauce were also flavorful. For a family of four, the total cost, including appetizers, beverages, and main courses, was just under $70.00. We enjoyed our experience, particularly the food, and plan to return.

Large variety of foods. Great appetizer and good overall. Pizza, burgers, wings. Bartenders were great and place is loaded with TVs. I would visit more often if I could.
