First up is the famous sweet tea. The moment it hits your tongue, the flavor is fantastic. While the version sold in grocery stores is really good, the fresh tea served here is even better.
I got the Mega Meal Combo, which includes large fries, an apple pie, a burger, and a large drink.
The fries are super soft, yet crispy, with a golden brown finish. They are very tasty, with only a couple of fries that weren't perfectly golden.
The Boom Boom sauce is spicy but not overwhelming. Initially, it has a strange taste, but it grows on you over time. However, it still feels like it’s missing something, though after a while, I really liked it.
The burger was not the best I've had. The pickles need to be spaced out more evenly. The patties are thicker, which may appeal to some, but I prefer smash burgers, so I'm not the best judge. However, if you like thick patties, you'll find them good.
The Double O sauce is very tangy and good, probably better suited for chicken but still quite enjoyable on the fries.
The apple fried pie is very crispy and gooey, served hot. It's a nice little dessert to finish the meal with, and it’s pretty good.
I had my doubts, but I was left impressed. My waiter, Salisia, provided the best experience—very nice and professional. I hope they keep...
Read moreThe first time I went a couple weeks ago was wonderful! Everything was how I remembered Milo's being. The last 3 times I've been, including tonight, couldn't have been any worse I don't believe. I guess the food is good, but I NEVER got what I ordered. I mean, the food I got was ok but it isn't what I waited in a 30 minute drive thru line for and spent $30+ dollars on. I had to go in after I checked my food bc I didn't get my other drink or any of my sauces. At this point, I had given Milo's an hour of my life with the intention of SAVING TIME on cooking myself. To top it off, when I got home, my entire order was wrong and incomplete. Smh. I'm so disappointed. $30.35 down the drain. That will probably be my last time going there. I hate it, but I can't afford to lose money like that. I will say, when I went inside to get my other drunk and my sauces, the young lady up front was very nice. And I've had a good experience with the PEOPLE in the drive thru. But whoever is in charge of putting the order in the bag and then checking it before it goes out, needs more training. I know it's incredibly difficult to run an operation like that and I realize you all are just getting started here, but I just can't take a chance on losing that kind of money on what was supposed...
Read moreThe people here are really nice and the place itself is fine, but the food is honestly terrible. I got a 12 count nugget meal, large size, and it was $15. That would’ve been fine if it actually tasted good but everything was so bland. The nuggets had no flavor and reminded me of Guthrie’s, but honestly I would’ve rather had Guthrie’s over this. I was literally gagging trying to eat it and couldn’t finish, even though I tried because I spent $15 on it. The ranch tasted like what a dog smells like. The fries had no seasoning except for some powder they put on them that is bitter lol and the chicken wasn’t crispy at all. It was soft, and the batter just didn’t match I make better chicken at home. The only thing that was actually good was the sweet tea. This was actually my second time trying them. The first time I got a burger and it was just as flavorless, but I thought maybe the chicken would be better. It wasn’t. There’s genuinely not much I won’t eat or don’t like, so for me to say this was bad… it really was. I could’ve spent way less money and gotten something 10x better....
